Hi everyone.

Totally new to slimming world and I am already feeling my first big challenge in the form of eating out!

Do any of you know where is best to go and what is best to get?

I know Nando's is a good one but unfortunately that's a no go for the fiance and his mum (how selfish:rolleyes::8855:)

Any help would be much appreciated!!

xx

Wherever you decide to go (and I am no help, because I never eat out unless I am on holiday) the key is to plan. Many restaurants have menus online. Have a look and then you can make decisions in advance, when you aren't being rushed.

Always remember that you are the customer, and as long as you ask nicely, most things are possible. Waiters are used to people on special diets so will not mind if you ask for no butter, sauces and dressings on the side, salad instead of chips, etc.

Just plan it, and then you will be in control.

Harvester is a good option. Simply Chicken with a jacket potato and peas, plus salad is free :)

We decided on Harvester after reading on the SW website. I plan on getting the flame grilled chicken breast with baked potato or rice and the buttered peas (not sure wether the butter will be separate, I hope so). :eat:

Whenever you are out and unsure how things are served just ask for sauces/dressing/butter to be served separate "on the side". Unless the peas are already buttered then you might have to syn.

I think the peas may have already been buttered but I left the majority of them. I totally filled up on side salads and had a flame grilled chicken breast with rice which was delicious!!:eating:
