Journey to 10 stone loss
Hey everyone were wanting to go away this year around Aug/Sept time as I'm due our 2nd little boy on the 2nd June.

Wanting somewhere nice, child friendly. My boy will be just over 3 and a newborn.

Not wanting Butlins as we went last year x

Not sure what your budget is and weather you have a car or not but we tend to rent a bungalow or lodge at www.hengarmanor.co.uk in Cornwall.

We are going there in June as we love it there, it's near Bodmin which is handy for food shops and so long as you have a car you can get to all sorts of tourist places in Cornwall. They also have a swimming pool onsite which has a baby pool and a jacuzzi and a bar upstairs from there where our little girl loves to enjoy the kids entertainment before the adults stuff comes on. They have their own mascot who entertains the kids getting them playing games and dancing while adults can sit round the dancefloor relaxing with a drink.

Thanks il check it out tomorrow on the pc :)

have you looked at pontine or haven? we went to a caravan in downy last year on a caravan site called Bryn Morfa, it was ten minute walk (with kids, 5 with adults) to a very secluded and sandy beach, was lovely. you could walk in to town too so you had the castle. if you have a car you can take a trip to greenwood forest park which is a nature theme park for the under 10s which the kids loved. plus your an hours drive from snowdonia, 20 mins from the zoo, 10 mins from llandudno which has the great orme, the pier and the kids loved the speedboat rides.

We have booked haven :) thank you! X

Were going to Haggerston Castle, never been or up there either so should be good! x

I've not been to that one - our favourites are in Weymouth - I guess that's a long way for you to go! We used to live in Cleethorpes, so Thorpe Park & Golden sands were our 'local' parks and could really recommend them as well.

indeed, over five hour drive i think.. we live otherside of the bridge from Grimsby so they are pretty close for us, wanted to go alittle furtherx
