Slimming world from home- week one

Hey everyone!

I've just started up slimming world again, but am doing it from home this time. It's my second day, and normally I'm really unprepared. This time, I've pre-cooked chicken breasts and left them in the fridge and have plenty of low syn and syn free snacks to pick at when I'm peckish so I don't fall off the wagon! I have 5 1/2 months till I go to Australia, and until September till I move to France and Spain for a year . Totally determined this time as I've got something to aim for. Any tips and recipes you guys can give me would be great! Thanks :)

Sounds brilliant! What sort of syn free and low syn snacks have you been buying in? I'm joining a SW group tomorrow and I've been told that the Bachelors pasta n sauces and mugshots are good. I'm hoping to be syn free during the day and then just have a nice treat in the evening with my syns :)

you sound super motivated!

best of luck xxx

I am eating heaps of ratatouille make it in batches and its great on its own, topped with cheese (HEA) or on a jacket potato, pasta, or part of a meal. It always tastes better day after making too. I add all sorts but mainly onion, mushrooms, peppers, courgette, tinned toms and season. hope this helps. I live in Spain in the summers too but in NZ atm so finding some things like low fat dairy and quark is hard but make do with lots of fruit and veg. good luck with your travels sounds exciting x

Hi! I've been buying tons of fruit and making boxes of fruit salad so I can just grab and go. Mugshots are great low syn lunches if you're stuck. And the mini chocolates that you would buy for Halloween are fairly low in syns- great if you've got a sweet tooth like me!

Hi hun,
I am also doing SW at home. I'm into my 4th week now and seem to be doing ok. I've lost 12lb so far.
You seem really motivated and organised so stick with it and I'm sure you will achieve your goal.x

Fernstephens93 sorry to jump on your thead but wanted to say a huge well done to littemissnaughty. Fernstephens93 good luck with your journey and what a way to celebrate the loss you will have x

This morning i made SW magic pancakes and they were delicious! I used 35g porridge oats, 1 vanilla muller light, 2 eggs and 1 tbsp sweetener, left to soak for 30 mins and then fried like regular pancakes in fry light. I had 2 syns worth of Nutella with them too. The only complaint is that they're so hard to flip!
