DD15 tonight "Mum, if I make a lentil curry and use your spray oil, can you have some?" :sigh:

I couldn't bring myself to say no, she'd have been so disappointed. I had no rice or chapati & I worked it out on MFP and I'm a bit over on my carbs target, but well under on my calories for the day, so not the end of the world. I'm quite happy to turn down DH's cooking mind you.

Anyone else feel guilted into eating sometimes?

my OH guilted me into having breakfast in Frankie and Benny's on Saturday - on the basis of he wont eat if I wont eat...... :sigh:

I ordered an omelette and they got it wrong, and the waiter had vanished. So by the time I eventually managed to get someone's attention, he had finished his breakfast. So I very politely told them where they could shove it and left. So I guess that was a win for the diet, since I didn't actually eat breakfast.

I went to visit my sister in Berlin before Christmas and I hadn't seen her since last April so when she had planned lots of meals and activities around food it was really difficult to say no....in fact I didn't! I felt really bad when she would say things like "I booked ... restaurant for dinner and we can go and have some beers before..." etc.

Yeah this is very hard, ive found myself slowly becoming a social recluse all due to a diet, ...aaarrrgghh :)
