Restart After 2 Pathetic Attempts...On Day 1 Again

So im back again, originally started beginning of this month but one slip up spiralled......

Week 1 I still managed a 7lb loss despite my sins (20's feeling looser) but now i'm back to Day 1 (currently drinking the Thai chicken soup). So far no hunger pangs or cheats ;)

Struggled to finish all my hot choc shake this morn, and soup is going down slowly. Is there anything I can use to help it down at all?

Finally booked my hall for my engagement party :D and I have 17 weeks exactly to put a dent in the junk in the trunk and would like to least have a size 14 dress on (my weight when I met my darling hubby to be is 154lbs but I think I may be setting myself up for defeat :p)

I now have an official date to aim for the wedding July next year. Trying really hard to fit in a 10 dress (or if I make it my ideal 8!!!)

Found all the advice on here great so far you are all doing so well and I've really been inspired to get off my badonka and do something about the way I look instead of expecting it to evaporate overnight.

Hope all the fellow restarters or newbies stay positive, I really enjoy reading your posts :D!!!

'I know if I can manage one day, I can do three.....if I do three I can make a whole week!!' My new mantra in my head

Welcome Kara, you can do this! You've got some fab incentives there to aim for - just do it one day at a time, if you do feel like you have to cheat then give yourself a time gap of ten minutes before you have anything. After that you'll probably find you don't want anything and if you do then have another ten minute time out lol.

really hope that you get through it!

Hi Kara. If you stay on track you'll get there. I add extra water to the soups and various herbs and spices and garlic powder and I have extra water + ;ots of ice with the shakes done in a blender. The tastes of the products actually grow on you. A couple of weeks ago I was saying how horrible the red chilli was and now I quite like it. I can't see the risotto ever being nice - it's gross!

Hi kara

Welcome to the crazy train! I'm like you. I struggled to stay on track. I'm only day 5 now. Like Lynne says, your tastes will change and you might like some things that you previously weren't fussed about!

Good luck. Keep posting :/) x

Thanks Everyone will take all your advice on board :)

Had a little slip last night making kids evening meal but I'm determined not to let it knock me off course again. I find its the evening that knock me for six, I cope really well during day but as soon as night rolls on I find my appetite goes ballistic. Not sure if its because my children don't sleep well at night and previously I used to pick at naughty stuff in my cupboards whilst getting them to sleep just for pure energy to stay awake

Determined to drink my water every time I feel hungry as that's another of my bad habits I don't drink enough water a day so maybe I'm mistaking hunger for being thirsty

Will persevere really want to wow a few relatives I've not seen in a while as last time they saw me they mentioned they were worried about my weight/health.

On and up from here!!

Good girl. Stick with it :) x

Maybe u should DSD as night. Do something different. Sit in a different chair, do ironing in between settling kids. I'm trying to do some thing different in the evenings! X

I LOVE that idea!!

Will try that tonight :D

If I'm looking for something to do I do a whole beauty thing of cleansing, moisturising etc as that then distracts me and I can't eat if I've got a face full of cream....plus it might help with my wrinkles

Just back lack from walking the dog, did about 2 miles, wish I lived somewhere flat!

Brill thanks all,

Someone else mentioned the brushing of the teeth but if i do that with every pang i will have no enamel left on my teeth :D

I decided today to clean or sterilising bottles to keep me occupied whilst making the kids meals and my house looks all sparkly and new again & my dishwasher somewhat neglected ;)

Thanks again and all the best to everyone else

xx

Busy, busy busy! Keeps the hunger pangs at bay!
