I'm attempting EE

desperate to do this properly

Muller light cherry

Ham salad on a brown roll
Smidge of marg

LOADS OF FRUIT- 1 banana. Blueberries blackberries strawberries pear apple raspberries

Small scattering of almonds about 15.

Omelette made with 4 eggs fry lite and red onion
Tomato mug shot

Large bowl of v low fat natural yoghurt with a chopped banana. 1 tsp of Nutella

IS THAT TOO MUCH??? Hmmmm I dunno

It's hard to say without knowing how you're combining these to make a meal, but there isn't much veg or salad in there (you never get much in a roll). Don't forget to work the syns out properly - it's easy to kid yourself with smidges.

SW (esp EE) is about combining food to satisfy your hunger - not about amounts as such. If it's 'free' that's fine, as long as there's the superfree to balance up the proportions.

Sorry if that isn't very helpful.

It's very helpful thankyou.

Just seems too good to be true.... I've been really full today and yeah you're right I do need to measure syns a bit better x

thanks for taking the time to post x

I'm assuming that the Muller was your breakfast, ham roll was lunch and omelette/mugshot was dinner.
I'd say it doesn't look like too much at all, in fact I'd usually eat more than that. But there are a few things I feel I ought to mention...

You have had a lot of fruit which will balance it out, but you do need to make sure you have 1/3 superfree with most of your meals because it's the way we control how much we eat of the other things. So maybe (if you didn't) mix loads of the berries in with the Muller (like you did with the banana yoghurt), have a side salad with your roll, and put lots more veg into your omelette (e.g. pepper, mushrooms, courgettes, leeks, bunch of herbs, asparagus if you feel fancy).

Have you worked out and written down the syns for everything? So the smidge of marge (agree with the person above that you really need to measure - I was amazed how little a LEVEL tsp of butter/Nutella was!), the Nutella, and the low-fat yoghurt (may well have some syns in it), and the almonds (15 almonds is approximately 4.5 syns but check that).

Finally, check your healthy extras. How big was the brown roll (I assume your hexB)? Where is your hexA (milk/cheese)?

Good commitment!

Thankyou :)

Yeah you're right it was muller light for breakfast ham salad for lunch and omelette for dinner

I'll start checking syns for things today properly, I tend to guess measurements and I'm probably way off.

The brown roll I had was pretty big too. Probably more than a hex would allow for.

Last toms I did slimming world properly it was just red day green day, EE seems a bit too good to be true

Also I ate my evening meal really late, I went to bed on an almost full stomach which probably wasn't a good idea xxx

Also can I point out that a brown roll would not count as a Healthy Extra, no matter what size. It's only WHOLEMEAL that counts, a 60g roll is a B choice. Brown is a totally different thing!

Seriously?! Thankyou, I never knew that x

I'll be cutting out as much bread as I can soon as it's my biggest downfall but thanks xxx
