I pull back the duvet, make my way the the refrigerator, one dried potato inside no lie not even bread or jam...and the light above my head went bang!
Sorryyy it's my favourite song!!

But seriously I haven't had a decent nights sleep in weeks, 5 hours max a night? Anybody else the same? Anything I can do about it? It's really running me down I think and it doesn't seem to matter how much I do during the day as soon as I hit the pillow it's just impossible. I haven't been getting asleep till crazy times despite being up early.

Any help would be much appreciated!!x

Both me and my husband have had the same thing, we are on day 6. Hoping it will stop soon but I'd be keen on advice too.

Good luck xx

I'm on day 6 and I'm also struggling with the sleep thing. I wasn't sure if it was because I started back at work on Monday and I wasn't used to my usual routine after 2 weeks holidays, but now you've made me think its the diet.

Its strange because I could happily sleep at my desk just now, but when my head hits that darn pillow my brain goes "WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!"

I Haven't had a full nights sleep in nearly 10 months... oddly the same amount of time since a lovely young gentleman came into the world lol :p

Being in a semi fast will make you more alert.... I also had difficulty getting off to sleep last night, not helped by burning face and freezing hands, however I also slept through a mighty electric storm that woke mr at 4am and kept my work mates awake most of the night

anyway, yeah, lack of food = lack of sleep in my experience

I actually don't know why I liked your post, I don't like the lack of sleep. Lack of sleep is poo :(

I'm also hoping to get a decent sleep tonight. I work two jobs and someone at my second job told me today I look absolutely shattered. I am.

goodnight... I hope.

Urghhhh I'm the same the diet has never effected me like this before I normally sleep great when in ketosis!

But day 7 and I feel dreadful I've tried nytol but that's rubbish! Someone told me to buy the drowsy antihistamines so I'm off to buy some soon feeding seriously fed up of being tired! X

It took my ages to get to sleep last night. I didn't go to bed until 11pm-ish because I finished work at 10pm and had to have my last pack when I got home, but I woke up at 5.30am. Head thumping. Felt like I'd slept with my head on a brick. Couldn't get back to sleep for the life of me.

God to work about 8am and, I swear, by 11.20am I honestly thought it was late afternoon - like perhaps 45mins before hometime.
I work as an accountant and I feel very unfocused and hazy today. Its making my job very difficult.
I'm now on day 6 and I was very hopeful that this feeling was going to pass soon, but katikins100 has ruined that hope for me by saying its the same at day 13! LOL!

I thought about trying Night nurse, but not sure. :(

Hmm, I'm having trouble falling asleep lately too (& can't blame the baby because she's usually asleep by 8.30pm!) although don't remember this from when I've done VLCDs before (twice).

Don't think I'd take anything for it though - just forced myself to wake early this morning, trying to get fresh air/daylight as much as possible, putting admin into To-Do Lists & need to cut the electronics/blue light pre-bed!

I did have the sleep problem but it seems to have worked itself out now, im on day 12
