I'm disappointed...

...because i'm coming to the end of Day 3 week 2 and i have not lost any more weight at all since i was weighed on Wednesday evening.

Feeling a bit hopeless cos no-one wants to starve themselves and not see the needle move on the scales. Its making me a feel a little despondent.

I'd hate to get to weigh in on wednesday night and not have lost.

My OH has said to me he knows its that TOTM (he's right, day1) and that I should not worry....but i am.

Anyone else had this happened so early on in the plan?

I lost a nice amount in my first week but in my 2nd week I only lost 2lb... it is disappointing but your body does catch up and you will lose weight! Good luck with your weigh in and stick with it... you'll see the results, if not this week then next :)

I'm currenly going through the same thing! :)

When I was weighed on Wednesday night at my drop in, I had put on a pound. I usually retain water leading up to the TOTM starting (still hasn't started). :(

I'm also in Week 2. We must have started the same week?

I go to my meeting tomorrow and I'm really not expecting a loss at all. BUT, I guess it's not that big of a deal because I know I have done nothing wrong. I have stuck to the diet religiously.

Big hugs to you. Next week, maybe we'll both have big losses!!! :D

I dont weigh myself unless its at the weigh ins. I figured u will send urself crazy over the odd pound here and there and its not worth it. By weighing weekly it gives you something to aim for and you can guarentee that the scales are set to the same.
try doing that? will save urself alot of worrying!

Thanks girls

Miss F - where about in West Yorkshire are you?

I'm in Ilkley.

I'm so desperate to get rid of this excess weight.

Thank goodness for this forum xxxxxxxxx

Hi I am in Shepley - just outside Hudds.

Honestly do not worry - my losses have been 6lb, 1lb, 6lb 1lb - never a nice regular figure. But over the 100 days I did lose over 3 stones. Look at it his way, a bad week is good because you know next week means a big loss!

Lemma you're only 3/7ths of the way through the week -and it's your time of the month so you're automatically going to way heavier. Really you shouldn't let yourself get down like this about what your own scales say as it does you no favours, you're just going to end up driving yourself mad.

I'm not saying that you shouldn't weigh yourself, some people do and others don't. I weigh myself every single morning without fail and always have done, I even keep a spreadsheet of it - but I accept that my weight can go up 2lbs in a day due to water retention or hormones or anything and I know that it will go back down........ I don't eat/drink anything I shouldn't so I know it's not scientifically possible for me to have put weight on and I know that all things being equal I have to lose weight doing this diet, it's not physically possible to not do so.

So honestly don't worry about not showing a loss tonight - as long as you stick to this diet you definitely will lose weight (((hugs)))

Lemma as the other have said dont worry, if you look at my weight loses I have some good and some small but in the 100 days I lost 3stone 3lbs.

When I first started I got OH to take the scales away so I couldnt use them and i feel this is better for me. Cause just recently I have got them out again and I get despondent more often. So OH is going to take them away. (Oh I am a baby arent I:D0

If you stay on track you will lose and weighing yourselfs too often can put the dampeners on things.

Cheer up you will do it.

Good luck hun.

I know it all makes complete sense....when you are not in my head!!!!!:p

Its good to know what to expect cos there is this belief that you will have huge losses each week on this diet, and that is looking highly unlikely for me this week.

I shall keep you updated on wednesday and until then I shall keep my sanity by logging on and listening to you all talking sense.

Actually i don't think it helps that I am hormonal and my husband is tucking into a big sloppy guiseppe pizza from Pizza Express.

Golly, the ANGUISH!!!!!!!!!:p:p;)

Lemma, I am honoured that u think I talk sense:D

Lets hope the OH bites his tongue whilst eating the pizza:eek:;)

LOL:p

Ouch!!!!!

He's finished it now so the torture is over.

Just watching Ashes to Ashes from the other night.
it brings back loads of memories. Pure nostalgia.

Fantastic series!!!!

Feeling better already. Just got 2 1/2 lts of fluid to drink before bed.

No pressure then!

Glad you're feeling better ----- go glug that water ;)

:cry:Mine ate fish and chips infront of me last night...................................

I have to agree totally with Kellie here :)

Weighing in between can be soul destroying and just sabotage your efforts hun. If your weigh day is a Wednesday then please don't torture yourself by getting on today, Saturday, and being disappointed by what you see. It could be lots of reasons but if you are sticking to your plan then you WILL lose.

Lacey..xx :)

There seems to be a fair few of us Yorkshire girls here.

I blame Yorkshire pudding and onion gravy. Puts meat on our bones.
