Has anyone made it to a size 8-10 on the CD??

I lost 2 and a half stone on the cambridge diet at the end of 2006. I have gone from being a size 14-16 to a size 10-12, which has really helped me feel more confident and happy. I've managed to keep the weight off since then through healthy eating and cutting back on the carbs. I still think about what I'm eating ALOT as I'm scared that if I'm not careful I will put weight back on.
My dream is to have the balls to go back on the CD and have one last push to make it to a size 8-10 rather than a size 10-12, especially since I'm getting married in August. The thought of going back on the diet after so long is freaking me out but I know it works and going on it last time was one of the best things I ever did.
Has anyone actually made it to a size 8 and have you got any tips on how you did it?? K8T xx :D

Hi:)

I think getting to a size 8, really depends on your bone structure and build, also if you've had children etc. If you have big hips for example, you could be very lean and still have to wear a size 10 or 12.

I am now a size 8 in jeans, trousers etc. but wear a size 10 top. I lost my weight on CD and simply just followed the rules of the diet, I sole sourced to BMI 25 + 1 stone, then started moving up the plans and got to my goal weight of 9 1/2 stone and ended up being the size I am. I have small hips and I guess that accounts for the size 8 jeans, however I have quite a broad back so need bigger tops. Actually thinking about it, my figures a bit blokish:eek:

I wish you every success on reaching your goal.

Thanks Tracey :D Wow, you've done really well to lose all that! You must be made up, lol I'm sure you're not blokeish at all! How are you managing to keep it off now you've reached your goal, do you still have the occasional CD to make up for being naughty? I sometimes swap the odd evening meal for a CD if I know I've been bad...

I'm happy at the weight I am, would like to tone up a little, so have just started at a local gym.

Maintaining I've found to be hard, I'm ok most of the time, but I occasionally emotionally binge eat, if this happens I cut back again. I weigh myself twice a week, just to keep myself in check and if I see an extra lb go on, I'll cut back to get it off again.

I try not to rely on Cambridge products anymore, but being a CDC they are in my house and the temptation to have something instead of a meal is there. If I am out for the day I sometimes take a bar to have at lunchtime and if I have a day where I haven't eaten much I love to have a choc tetra with hot milk in the evening, just to top up my vits and minerals, plus I love the choc tetras:D

I probably don't have anymore than 2-3 CD products a week though.

Hi, first of all congratulations, you've done really well !! How long did it take you to get from a size 10 to a size 8 and did you stay on the LL until you reached where you are now or where you eating normally by then? I found it quite easy to drop to a size 10-12 but I've been trying for ages to shift the last half a stone and it's so hard!
I'm 5'5" xx

If your BMI is 25 or below, I'm not sure they will let you do the CD again. You sound as though you're at a healthy weight :)

I'm 4ft 10" but I don't think I'll ever be a size 8! I'm just not built like that, I'm quite broad. Shame!

Hi I think the girls are right...it depends on ur body frame whether you can get to that size. I went from a 24 to a 12-14 but I'm tall and don't think I would ever be an 8-10!
good luck!

Thanks, I reckon you're all right but I would just love to have skinny tummy for my wedding lol
I know it would be a bit naughty going back on the CD as my BMI is now under 25 but surely it wouldn't be that bad if it was only for a short time..
