Hi girls,

I am following the SW diet from home as I don't have the time to go to meeting unfortunately. I would love to go and meet all the other ladies but I work full time and and am a University student so can't fit it in :(

Now apart from the Food Optimising book, what other books would you say are essential to following the diet long term? Is there a Syn value book and a book that tells you the weight your HE Bs need to be, like the weight of meat on a Green Day and potatoes/pasta on a Red? It's quite hard just struggling along sometimes.
I am happy to pay whatever it costs to buy them from Amazon but could you give me a run down please?
Thank you xx

Why not check out the web site, you may be able to download the books you need from there. You will probably need to register on line though. But you can join SW online too.

Ebay have some SW books i find the SW food directory a must but my SW consulatant said they are bringing a new one out within the month, the sauce book is great as is the free meals books

I've got the following:-

100 Green Recipes
100 Free Original Recipes
100 Delicious Desserts
all of which were £2.95 from the group i go to

My daughter has lent me the Food Directory which gives 39,000 syn values of branded foods including supermarkets own. I've found it really useful, i believe it is currently out of stock at Slimming World but the new one will be out March or April. Its the 2006 one she's lent me and the price on the back is £6.95

As Hedgemag says you don't have to physically go to a group you can join online and get the up to date information.

All the best

I love the SW curry book and have also got the 4 seasons book...
I am a book hoarder and have got the books mentioned in the post above too,....

I never used to cook but am finding I am enjoying it now.
