tickerly cough, rough sore throat...

hii,

feeling a little under the weather as I have come out in a horid cold, starting with a horrible sore dry throat...

what can i take for this?? I normally have some sort of honey cough medicine??

any ideas?

I think its feeling soooooo cold that has caused me to get this cold.. is that possible?

There is some dibetics cought medicine that you can take, not sure what it is called though. But your chemist will know.

When i had a nasty sore throat i gargled with warm salt water, it really worked which i was quite supprised at! Makes it less sore

thanks for the advice Lizzie... I tried the gargling with salt water before and it makes me gag I'm worried I might accidently swallow the salt aswell!!

I get weighed today so I'l ask about the diabetic medicine then, thanks.
