Getting things moving-in the er bottom dept

If you want to keep things regular-ish down there what do you all take? am i right in saying it some sort of fibre thing?

would that fibre sure from the telly with kate thorntons voice over do the trick? is there anything i need to look out for with it?

Also does it affect weight loss at all?

thanks muchly everyone x

I add a teaspoon of physillium husks to my soup each day & take a couple of senna tabs couple of times a week - I prefer senna as its a little bit more gentle. It is easy to forget though that you are only having a small amount of food so er not much comes out the other end - sorry to be so blunt! xxxx

I'm a psyillium husk girl as well, after really suffering around weeks 2-3. Couple of teaspoons a day in shakes keeps me sorted

I have psyllium husks every day in a shake which I mix cold into a paste, add water to make a cereal bowl full then microwave until gloopy. Not to everyones taste but its hot and thick and a bit like ready brek ( if you have a good imagination). I still had to take a laxative this week though as I felt bloated. Did the trick.

Hello Heffa

I liked your suggestion about using physullum husks as porridge...where do you get the husks, I have only seen it advertised as pills in holland and barret and they don't do it in the supermarket

angie-bum

I buy my husk of ebay.xx

I have been taking two psyllium husk capules every morning. Yesterday I took two sennas 12 hours apart and I had the required result last night. Mine are from Holland & Barrett.

I use bene fibre but forgot last week and haven't 'been' for nearly a week now so dynamite tonight I think.
