I am coming up for AAMW and I am trying to get my head prepared. Can some of you girls who have done these please post some of your meal suggestions for AAMW? Thanks I need inspiration

I've made a fabulous thai soup with my allowances:

Tblsp of Kale
Tblsp of Spinach Leaves
Water
1 tsp of bouillon or savoury mix
1 tsp of thai red curry
1 tsp of curry powder
1 portion of scallops/prawns
a good shake of crushed chillis

Really lovely and spicy!! I made the same with Tuna too, just as nice!

Not much help as I only ever had cottage cheese with cucumber but if it's any consolation it was yummy!!!

Enjoy!

I was told NO shellfish or prawns as they are high in carbs....

I've had cottage cheese salad all week & its been delicious, just rocket, watercress a few radishes & bit of fat free vinaigrette - Just having it now.

I think its best to do uncomplicated things, I had fish on Sun and actually found it really repeated on me. Been fine with the cheese tho xxx

i thought we couldn't have prawns as they are high in fat?? however, I'll try it with other protein. yummy
I may have cheated there  (I wasn't on a real AAM but was following the allowances but still stayed in ketosis) But any white fish, quorn or meat can be used within the allowance, the Thai soup is scrummy!!!

I tend to stick to cottage cheese and cucumber, however I have just had a yummy chicken salad - I baked the chicken in foil, sprinkled with chinese 5 spice powder, a few chilli flakes and a splash of balsamic vinegar - it was fantastic!

I've been having griddled chicken/quorn pieces and either courgette or broccoli in 1/2 a thai chilli soup and love it. There is a restaurant in Sheffield that does a thai soup with prawns and chicken and its like that. Yummy

for the whole week i stuck to chicken diced really small dry fried on top of mixed lettuce. Really lovely. Good luck x x

Hi, I just have some basil on my white fish or chicken grilled or poached in water with broccoli or cottage cheese with cucumber.

I find that keeping the options plain I can retrain my tastebuds to enjoy the flavours of the foods rather than relying on sauce and spice etc. I never ever thought I'd enjoy plain food but the tastes of things are now really lovely, steamed broccoli is bliss xx
