Introducing Myself

Hi everyone.

Just want to introduce myself, I'm starting the Cambridge tomorrow, could really do with some support. I weighed in today at 15 stone 3.5lbs, been heavier though in the past and can't blame my weight on pregnancies. Hoping to lose at least 4 stone on this if I can. I'm 36 and have two toddlers at home.

I tried the Lipotrim last year for a week, I never got beyond the tiredness after the week and couldnt take it much longer, especially running around after my smallies.

I am feeling very positive this time and really hoping it works.

Thanks for reading, looking forwarding to getting to know you.

Welcome, Mum! I hope you will enjoy CD and that you will soon be enjoying the benefits of weight loss.

I started nearly three weeks ago. After the initial couple of days - which are hard - I got into the swing of it all. I haven't cheated once and I feel really great! I have loads of energy, my eyes are brighter, my hair is silky and my skin is moisturised.

This is a brilliant forum to visit as the support on here is second to none! When you are happy and successful, everybody celebrates with you. When you are down, everybody encourages and supports you.

I'm so glad i got started and that I joined this forum. I am sure you will be too!

All the best for you start tomorrow!

Welcome to Minimins Mumof2girls :D:D:D

I hope you have a chance to browse around the site a bit and see how many different weightloss programmes and support there is for everyone and their own personal choices. We are all at different stages of our own journeys so I hope you will feel as though you are with like-minded souls who respect one another and understand what issues we can all face.

We also have lots of other topics we all chat about and share our own experiences, if we want to. Lots of laughs, and virtual tissues with hugs when there's tears of pain.:)

Looking forward to seeing you on the boards and getting to know you better. Any questions about anything at all, then please feel free to post and ask and one of us will be there as soon as possible.
Isis :)

Morning everyone. Crikey, I really didnt expect to log on today and see so many replies. I am really touched. Thanks for the tips (didnt think of the likes of splitting the shakes).. just looking at some of your weight losses it really is inspiring. It is almost too good to be true!

I have a couple of quick questions; 1. On LT I was allowed to use Listerine Breath strips, can I use them on CD? Also, can you drink espresso?

Thanks again for the lovely welcomes. Looking forward to grabbing a chance later to have a good old nosey around the site and particular the individual stories.

MT2G - I'm starting CD Day One today too!!!:D (After a complete cockup of last week!!)

I have espresso added to my shakes to make lattes!!! (Only me blender has gone an bust on me this morning!!)

Hi mum, I am a mum of 1 boy!! welcome to CD and you will have a fantastic journey, try to keep to it 100% and don't let anything sway you. You can have listerine strips, I use them. I am on day 3 at the moment, so am still hungry but trying to drink at least 4 litres of water. I use a tetra brick and divide it up into coffees throughout the day. If you feel a bit sicky with any of the shakes, try splitting them in half (20g) and put a bit more water in them.

Good luck with your direct journey (we are not going sight seeing!!)...

Love

Hi Mum, welcome to CD. I am a mum of 3. I had my week 5 weigh in this morning. I was a bit worried as it was also add a meal week. I lost another 4 lbs so Yay me!
I couldn't have done it without minimins. I don't post much but read all the hints and tips, recipies etc. I try to drink at least 3 litres of water a day but usually manage 4. I like making porridge with the psyllium husks. I like to microwave half a soup into a popadom.
I'm always inspired by the stories and pics on here ( porgeous is my heroine) check her out, that'll be me shortly.
Good luck, keep going, keep reading minimns. You can do it.
