Pysllium Powder Capsules Allowed?

Just wondering if they are - I picked them up yesterday hoping for some action. I didn't think I'd manage well with the stuff that mixes in with water or shakes.

I got them yesterday at the Revital health food shop on Wigmore St., in London (£12.95 for 120). Don't know where their other shops are, but they sell them online at:

The name of the product is Maxicol, by the way.

taking the pills

ive been taken 4 a day 2 morning 2 night for two weeks now i have lost weight so i guess its ok

you aren't supposed to because of the gel that the capsule is made of, however, a lot of people do take them as it is better than not taking them, if you see what I mean.
The husks themselves, IMO, are minging, so capsules are much more preferable.
Kelly - you can also get them in Holland and Barrett.
