Hey... well I think it was BL who I read mentioned PH ... Anyway, I went to try and hunt for some Boaters coffee today (I couldn't find it) and on my hunt.. popped into Holland and Barrett... I'm strolling around and I found "Colon+" ... (which I found out was powdered form psyllum husks!) Anyway, I looked and was tempted to get some but it was £12!! ... But there was a sign up sayin about it bein half price....... Got to the till.... and they explained that there was a token in "healthy" magazine to get it for half price...

So I bought the mag, and the psyllum... £12 for the PH, £1.50 for the mag, minus £6 off the psyllum with the voucher... £7.50! Bargain I thought??

Thought maybe it might help if any of u were after some??...

Also out of interest, what the hell is PH?!!!!!

yea, but what are they, is it a laxitive of some sort????

right, will have a look for that, does it help with the weight loss at all??

thanks by the way

xx

Psyllium husks aren't a laxative as such but a bulking agent that absorbs liquid and prevents constipation :)

oh... hahaha I probably got ripped off!! Had no idea how much it costs so thought I was gettin a bargain at half price!!

You still paid roughly the same amount - just know next time you can get it less then they have it at ful price. :)

Iget mine from a health food shop where they bag them up themselves. £3.25 for 250g. Better than £12.

Hi I'm new here.:);) just thought that I'd let you know that if you go to the asian health section in Tesco you can get a box of psyllium husk for around £2.99 its a green box called sat isabgol made by the sidhpur factory 200g.:D
