Valentines day!

Slimming for my children
Are you sticking to SS on V day or are you going to have something with your partner.
See I am thinking of having something home cooked with my fiancé. Purely because for more reasons than one when we got engaged at xmas it was ruined by my mum protesting that if we didn't invite her boyfriend to the celebrations or the wedding she was having nothing to do with the wedding. So it was all about making other people happy.
Reason I am saying this is because I want us to have a nice evening and I know that it doesn't have to revolve around food but its so nice to sit at a table candle lit with the two of you having a nice meal.

What is everyone else doing?

You could have a meal but stick to 790/AAM options to damage limit - it would be much easier than coming out of ketosis and struggling to get back in!

Why don't you sit at a candle-lit table at home and enjoy a nice meal? You can cook something for your partner and you could have a CD soup followed by a shake for dessert. That way you can sit down and have a nice time together AND stick to the SSing to show that you love yourself and are doing the very best that you can for yourself.

he does the cooking hehe. I was thinking he does curry and i could have a chicken breast and the spices he puts on it without the rice?

We don't do Valentines Day. I think it is a load of old guff.

Stick with the plan. Your OH will probably appreciate the sentiment of a nice dinner when you can fully enjoy your food rather than be consumed with guilt at every mouth full.

I would decorate the room with candles, buy a silly boardgame like monogamy and have some fun Prezzybox.com: Monogamy Game £22.95 you dont have to have food, trust me, ive been there!!

Valentines day is the only thing keeping me going at the moment:sigh:,
I shall have a meal with my OH, try and keep it low carb and enjoy every mouthfull. He's being sent to Iraq just after valentines and will be going through much bigger hardships than me on SS so I want to enjoy a "normal" evening with him before he goes. I can't wait to see him (hopefully) a couple of stone lighter when he gets back!
Had my 1st weigh in yesterday, lost 13lbs!!:D

I am sticking to SS, I'm gonna make a nice meal for him and have CD soup with a CD Muffin for pud. I made a toffee and walnut muffin following the recipe on here and it was yummy.

My Hubby really wants me to have a meal with him on Valentines day, i don't know what to do! I mean I had a few bites on Xmas Day and carried on with LL the next day, i still lost weight, because i was determined to continue with it! I have constantly lost weight on LL, week in week out. What shall i do, i was thinking, if I do end up eating, then just eat a leaf salad, or fish/salad or chicken salad, then again, i may not bother! Any advice.

There is no way i'd come off SS just because its Valatines day, just like i did'nt when it was my birthday. Just think of all of the other Valentines day you'll have together when your slim. One meal is'nt worth the stress. Only my opinion of corse, enjoy the day whatever you decide x x
