portion reduction after losing some weight?

Has anyone had to reduce their portion sizes after losing some weight? I've lost 2 stones and stopped losing even though I've another 3 still to lose, wondering if it was because me body needs less food now than it did. Has anybody else had to do this?

Portion size is my biggest gripe, but I love food :( I also have massive dinner plates so it's easy to overfill. I think I may invest in getting some smaller ones. It is something I definitely need to do though. Would love some portion reducing tips to help a greedy monster if anyone has any!

I have a massive appertight, but i am finding that the more i am sticking to slimmingworld everyweek the less i want to eat. So i am finding that i am naturally reducing my portions.

I think the magic is though that you can eat as much as you want if the ratio of superfree is correct. I eat loads of superfree, 1/3 minimum but often more like half, and this means i really can stuff myself and loose weight.

I've been at target for almost a year and haven't reduced my portion sizes at all, if I make a Sw dish for 4-6 people me and my husband have it as our dinner then who ever is at work the next day takes the left overs. So I would say we have large portions.

I'd love to be able to continue eating my massive portions but as my weight loss has stopped for 6 weeks, I think I need to cut down. This is the hard part for me.
Ceebee, I'm reading a book called the Headspace Diet and it's all about mindful eating so hopefully it will work. I also did the Paul McKenna hypnotic gastric band but it hasn't done anything. I've still been sticking to SW though. Just no longer losing.

Thanks - I'll have a look for it!

My advice would be to go back to basics, do a food diary daily, make sure you're measuring you healthy extras and synning things properly. Also any way you can add in a bit of body magic?
