Please Help!

Hello all! I seem to have had a terrible week. Not stuck to plan 100% but i have eaten less than 1300 calories each day and exercised every day. I am doing strength training and not eating any additional calories. This week I have put on 2lb! Feeling very disheartened as I want the scales to go down and not up. Does anyone have any advice on where I am going wrong?

Hi ya. Sorry to hear of this. I think maybe you might want to try upping your cals to say 1500/1600 on weight training days as you body could be holding on to excess weight. You will
More than likely to see a drop next week as if you've only just started with weights your body will hold onto water on your muscles also known as lactic acid- try drinking more water carry on with your exercise routine and if you think it might help, take some water tablets. By next week it should rectify itself. Don't give up ! I get down heartened as I weigh every day and it shows I've gained a lb but I'm hoping that will

Thanl you for the advice Kelly. I have been doing the weights for a few weeks now so it shouldnt be a huge shock to my body. On the plus side i have just hopped onto the scales and I have lost 3lb since yesterday. These weight fluctuations are so annoying!

Yay that's great well done! I'm getting on well I think. I have my second weigh in tomorrow morning so will let you know :) x

Hi Andrea I had a blip lastweek Had 3 bad days (TOTM) so I stayed the same but its made me more determined this week to lose it so don't give up cause even if its not a loss on the scales you're probably losing inches Best of Luck with it :)
