Paper clips.....a paper clip for every pound that you have removed from your body weight.
Keep them somewhere you can see and watch how quickly it becomes so long.
Stones - in your wallet or pocket, actual stones (you can pick them up at hippy shops and crafty stores too) for each stone that you have removed from your body weight. These ones are supposed to be very good for motivation on maintenance.
