Lipomas

I have several lipomas, mainly on my back in my kidney region. Also a coupl on the top of my legs. Lipomas are little fatty tumours in case anyone wasn;t sure. THey are not dangerous and generlly genetic I believe?

I have read up an these and seen my doctor. They don;t have anything to do with being overweight, but what I was wondering....does anyone else have these, and when you lost the weight did they show up more? Or how were they affected bby weigh loss, if at all?

lol - I just picture losing all the weight and then having all these little bumps sticking out!

They can be surgically removed, but I have so many of them I would look like a butcher's chopping block with all the little scars they would leave!

Just wondering if anyone else has these?

Just had a look at them on google images and I'm not sure if i've got one of those though it's not visible. It's on my back on line with my lower left breast, you can feel it's like a big hard lump but can't see it - though you might when all the fat above it shrinks down!

Hi, my husband has quiet a lot of them, doctor said there is no point him getting them removed, as there are so many, plus will leave with a lot of scars. Please don't touch them, apparently the doctor said the more you touch them, the bigger then can get.
