TOTM

I am sure I am probably not the first one to ask this question... (I tried to look for other posts related to this topic)

How do you react to TOTM on this diet? I am on the pill, I just stopped taking the pill on Sunday, but I have had no energy since Sunday and definitely yesterday and today. I have really been sad and really hungry.. which makes no sense. I am also super craving something sweet which I have resisted.. until later tonight so that I can eat my last food pack... I know everyone's body is different but this is the second time for TOTM on this diet and I don't remember any of these symptoms the first time... If anyone else has similar symptoms.. how do you cope?

Mine have pretty much been the same, my first TOTM I hardly noticed, but this time it was rough, I was really wanting food, it went after a couple of days though.
It is very hard, but I just keep telling myself I will be able to eat soon enough, I have to keep going and just get rid of this weight as soon as I can.

Are you sure coming off the pill isn't effecting you??

I've only had two TOTM since I started (17 weeks ago) and they were brief (I'll spare the details) which I saw as a REAL bonus of the diet!!!

Because a lot of your female hormones are stored in your abdominal fat, you will notice differences. Some people will have them more frequently, some (like me!) less frequently, maybe heavier, lighter or even stop for a period (!) of time. As you lose more and more weight, the TOTM 'experience' may alter along with the hormones.

Either way - see this as a trigger time and be extra strong - thought records may help you deal with the crooked thoughts - as will all of us on here!

Usually I'd get choc cravings the day before TOTM, but the last 2 sneaked up on me without any cravings! GREAT!!!

I have this issue, some months are worse than others. What is getting me through this time is a hot water bottle, painkillers, hot drinks and being quite lazy. I have never taken time off like I have done yesterday and today but my hubby has stepped in with the cooking an housework and I have barely left the sofa.

I didnt know that female hormones were stored in your abdominal fat. I have always had a really flat stomach with all my weight going to my boobs and behind until I had my daughter by caesarean a year ago. Maybe thats why my pains have become worse? Before I hardly used to suffer and was like most men in thinking that women were exagerating about their pain and milking it.

Now I understand a bit more. Well I can pinch about two inches in my tummy area now so I will have to work hard at permanently banishing that fat.

When it got to my TOTM my weight stayed the same - it made me even more depressed!

To be honest I don't recall there being that much of a change for me except for them being lighter from what I can remember.

Before I started I had 1 period in the past 2 years... within a week of starting (and losing about a stone) I got a period and it stayed with me for 3 weeks... after this I came off and came on again 2 days ago... and it is the worse, most painful periods ever!!!!!!1

But then thats just me! hey ho... oh to be a woman...
