Could Try Harder
Well its official

I have had my initial chat with my LLC who appears to be a lovely lady (Phew) and the Dr signed my forms for me today without any problems. I was a little worried about going to the Docs but thankfully she already knew about the programme so I didnt have to do a lot of explaining or defensive justification.

So first meeting on Friday and abstinance starts on Saturday (eep!)

TotI

Tracker to appear soon........

Thats the best way - with your eyes wide his for open! Otherwise you will keep bumping into things!! :D

Seriously though, I think the key is going to be to keep reminding ourselves that we are doing this for US and that we CAN do it, if we put our minds to it.

All the best luck to you!! :)

Todays the day, I have my first meeting late afternoon. Im a little nervous about meeting the other ladies in my group but can wait to get started on the actual programme. I've started drinking my 4ls of water a day, finding it fairly easy to do. Today however Im trying to drink it as early as poss so Im not carrying that extra weight for my WI. Ive spent more time in the loo this morning than I hvae at my desk!

Good luck with your first WI. glug glug.

Good luck for your meeting today, hope you enjoy it. Don't worry about feeling that bit nervous, everyone else who is new will be feeling exactly the same but you'll soon be completely at ease with each other.

welcome to the club.... lovely to see you.. good luck at the first session!

so the first day has started,

So far I have tried the vanilla shake which I can see being a regular in my packet choice and a chicken soup. The soup is ok but will probably only make an occassional appearance unless I find the crisps tasty.

Have decided that I will try each sachet in all its variations before I rule anything out for certain.

so far so good and despite sitting at meals with family and having been out shopping Im feeling really good about things.

Ah quick question,

I have some orange lip balm and Im wondering if tis ok to use? I dont deliberately eat it but it is on my lips.....

It may be safe just to get some vanilla or coconut instead?

No - it'll be fine to use......you can use orange one

Another tip is space your packs out and maybe even leave having your first one til later in day - you have 24 hrs in which you can have them and you may find teatimes/evening a bit more difficult at first. Whilst you are busy in the day you won't even miss food.

It'll take you a couple of weeks to find your own routine.

thanks lilac

At the moment im spacing my packs at the same time as I would have eaten normally to see how that works out for me, the only addition is Im having a breakfast pack which is a meal Ive always missed out before (I know I know its the most important one :p)

It is definitely worth experimenting a bit and retrying later in the programme as your tastes do change. I loved the thai one the first week then went totally off it. I have got one this week to try again.
Also I didn't really like the chicken or mushroom at the start, but I have to say that adding a little lo salt and some pepper really transformed them.

I tend to have none until lunch, then have a latte with the vanilla, a soup at dinner time, then a latte and bar for supper.
In this cold weather though I have been having half a latte in the morning to warm me up and the other half at supper time.
