Accepting compliments, New years resolution

How many times has someone complimented you on your weight loss, appearance, new hair do, clothes etc ??

and we always say something like

getting there
got a long way to go yet
oh this old thing
I`m trying

and play down what we have achieved !

We should all learn to accept compliments and enjoy them in 2008 lol

I know exactly what you mean.... I'm forever doing it.. though I now do try and just smile and say thanks very much..... still can't stop myself if someone compliments me on an item of clothing/jewellery etc I just have to say.... thanks but it only cost.....6 quid from Asda or 3 quid from Tesco or wherever and however cheap it is.... just can't help myself....lol

SO TRUE!! I'm always saying, getting there or not too much further now etc etc so I will also try to accept a compliment!
