Hey everyone just thought id introduce myself and say hello!!! im only after joining today but have been looking through all your motivating messages and fab results before i even started lipotrim and so now im starting my fourth week i decided id join!!!! looking forward to hearing from everyone think this will really help me with the owl motivation!!!!!xxx

well to be honest i wasnt joined here but i felt looking through this site at everyones success stories and stuff really helps plus the first couple of weeks i pretty much AVOIDED meeting up with people cuz i just theyd sugget we go for food and id probably tell myself "ah sure tis just a bite of a sandwich twil do no harm" and sure enough that one nibble would have me thinking "sure iv ruined it now i might as well binge and go mad!!!" but once the first week and half was over i was grand!!!

oh and i started one week before christmas day (im insane!!) so just kept away from the food until twas over cuz christmas usually for us lasts about 2 to 3 weeks!!! cuz of st stephens day and new years and all that so by starting 1 week b4 christmas i was telling myself that id be 3 weeks ahead of myself (bit of psychologiacl motivation)!!!:) plus i wouldnt of gained the usual christmas weight i gained!! i think its all in the mind cuz iv finally discovered the difference between stomach hunger and head hunger!!! what a great loss mini your such a great motivation!!
 
You have done brilliant - what would you liek to get too, I cant ever imagine being 10st! Not even in my dreams....

Yeah I lost 9.5 in my first week, I know I should have lost more tho, but the night before I pigged out with sanny, massive chinese and custard!! It made me realise tho that I never wanted to give up just yet. Hope to reach the 1 stone mark this week. Weigh in should be thurs but off on Fri so gonna make it then. My ticker of 2 stone weight loss is just my first goal. I started at 14st 12 lbs and would love to get to 11st - 11.5st. I get married in May and have my first dress fitting end of feb or begin of march - still to be confirmed!

but 9.5lbs is a huge amount to lose in first week and you ate chinese and stuff too!!!!lucky thing!!! in my three weeks i cheated three times but they were kinda planned treats if ya know what i mean like they were three pre planned nights out centering around food so what i did was i ate one grilled chicken breast on each of those cheat nights and ordered chips and salad but plan was not to eat them just move them around plate, put a few on a side plate and share them with others, did the paul mc kenna thing of eating real slow and putting knife and fork down after each mouthful and drank loads of water so no one would be nosey and asking me whay i wasnt eating!!!so by just eating chicken breast i was able to stay in ketosis!!!! thats so great that you have a motivating goal like that to look forward to, visualising how gorgeous and slim youl be in your dress!! well im so damn short that i look like mr potatoe head with toothpicks for legs so really have to get to a healthy weight!! im going to do one of those ticker things im planning to get to 8st 12 which would be perfect for my height.
 
Well done you, that really shows the will power you have, to have ordered those chips and not eaten them - you should realy proud of yourself! I think you have done brilliantly to have so much weight in 3 weeks.

After my first weigh in I went up a few more lbs! I was sick as a dog, and so disappointed with myself, am pleased to say that on my scales they are off again -so really hoping I can lose some more before Fri for my 2nd weigh in and either make or get passed the one stone mark.

I have said many times before, but I have arranged a surprise weekend to Dublin on Fri 25th of Jan, my initial plan was to do this up unitl the week before and refeed to allow me to eat while we are away. I am unsure what to do tho, I was thinking about maybe just doing it all the way up til we go and then eat protien meals and salad? But then what about the drink? I could easy do with out I suppose? I had thought I would just healthy eat when I got back fro dublin but I really have a ehole lot more to lose and I dont think healthy eating would get me there fast enough!

How long do you think it'll take you to get to goal?

hey pineapple, Id say after im finished this week that itl take no more than 4 weeks til i get to goal,(well thats me hoping anyways!!!)
i think you should stick with it all the way and just do like a planned cheat like i did, i did this my third week and my loss was 3 pounds and was a bit peed off with meself but then the hubby2b gave me 3 bags of sugar at 1 pound each and they were fairly heavy!! on friday(what time are ye leaving at like would it be the evening yed be arriving in dublin cuz you could have 2 of your shakes and also bring your shakes with you cuz they always have a kettle in the room and then that night for dinner have mainly lean protein without any sauce such as chicken breast would be your best bet, i wouldnt have any salad but you could once you kept it below 20 grams of carbs (like in atkins- this link will give you a list of carbs in veggies so youl stay in ketosis and if you keep your protein to lean low fat cuts then theres no way you can possibly gain for that weekend it would go against science!! CARBS: Carbohydrates in Vegetables oh and have a look at this site then to give you a list of atkins allowed meats but go for the option with the least fat and calories so youl be still taking in a low cal diet and also be in ketosis. Atkins - Acceptable Foods whats your plan for the weekend will you be able to take your shakes and if you can then, you just have to decide which meal you wanna "cheat" on. if you cant bring your shakes just let me know and ill work out a meal plan for you? sorry for the big shpeel but im just back from a weekend away and what i did was on day we were leaving i had my lipo before we left my second lipo when we arrived at hotel and then had grilled chicken breast that night for dinner and i ate it real slow and really savoured every mouthful, next day did same cuz by having my lipo on both mornings i was still stuck to the plan if ya know what i mean like if i hadnt had the lipo for brekkie i would of probably gone mad that weekend and ruined a good run of it!!! then when you get back home you just continue with the lipo and dont feel guilty about the "cheat" cuz you had planned, it, you were prepared, you enjoyed eating your grilled chicken or whatever you have and you were in control and stayed in control and you still will be down in weight you wont have gained and youl continue on your path to looking slim and gorge!!! sorry again i rambled!!!!

:eek: Classofme U must have Willpower of Steel to be able to stay on LT for Christmas!!! I have trouble trying to eat 'sensibly' over Xmas never mind dieting!!! I'm in absolute awe!

clessofme, what a great reply you gave me, thanks so much for taking the time to do that. To be honest, I never even thought about taking my shakes with me cause I really dont want too! Its a celebration weekend and really wanted to let my hair down (but still stay healthy) does that make sense?!I really dont think I'd be able to go away for the weekend and have my shakes and chicken breast at night? Could I? na I really dont think i could! And dont think I REALLY want to. Oh jesus its so hard, I know I should do what you did, but it take me all my time when am not away for a trip never mind when am on holiday! What about doing atkins, like egg, bacon etc for breakie (mmmmmm my mouth is watering!) chicken for lunch and steak for dinner?! I just know I deffo dont have the will to do the shakes when we are away. I'm such a coward aint i?
 
pineapple, course your not being a coward!!!! hun youve come this far already 9.5lbs is nothing to sniff at sure hold 9 and a half bags of one lb sugar and see how that feels!!!! you can still go and celebrate but not ruin it for yourself, defo do the atkins thing but have a look at that atkins site cuz things like sausages and pudding and stuff are a no go area, and watch things like sauces cuz there not allowed either, did you hear of pual mckennas cd i can make you thin?? you should try and get your hands on the cd that comes with a little book (have ya ever noticed skinny people can eat want they want but if ya look closely they take small bites and usually end up only eating half of something cuz theyre not mindlessly shovelling food in like i used to do before when watching tv or at cinema i used to literally shovel the food in just out of boredom i suppose and habit too!!) cuz it really teaches you that you can eat anything you want once you basically experience every single mouthful like really taste the food, eat slow savouring every bite, and pacing yourself cuz it takes 20 minutes or so before your stomach tells your brain your full so if you do the atkins over the weekend and have a look at the carbs counts in the veg to make sure you dont go above 20 grams of carbs then get straight on to the plan when you get back but dont weigh yourself when ya get back wait for your own weigh in because the "weight" you gain will be water/glycogen which is nothing to worry about its not fat and 3-4 days back on the lipo plan will sort it out and probably about week - week and a half and id say youl defo be back to weight you were b4 you went on weekend away!!! hope this is ok hun and remember be prepared for that glycogen and water gain it will not be fat cuz it takes an intake of approx 3500 calories to equal one pound of fat, this gain will go away and dont feel guilty either cuz you planned it, it wasnt as if you lost control one night and went on a scavenger hunt through the house devouring all in sight!!! so enjoy your weekend and just get straight onto plan minute your home and continue on your already paved, tarmacked, slimming road to succes hun
 
yuna!! welcome and thanks for that i believe everyone has just the same willpower inside!!! i defo did feel tempted but was thinking of it this way if i wait til after christmas/new years/etc etc it would of been about 2 or three weeks til i started so i just looked ahead and said to myself if i start a week before christmas ill be kinda 3 weeks ahead of myself if ya no what i mean:eek: plus visualisation which iv just learned about really helps me i pictured myself 3 weeks from christmas slimmer thinner healthier and happier and hey presto here i am with nearly my fourth week down!!!:) also if tis a choice between eating like a mad thing or being thin id take the latter wer all in control of what goes in and since wer responsible for our past wer responsible for our future enabling us to pave any path we want!!(god im fierce philamasophical wen i wants to be:rolleyes: ha ha) good luck yuna and looking forward to you coming back next week to tel me your fab weight loss!!!:party0023:
 
Thanks clessofme, your very kind to take the time to write these messages. I will deffo have a look at those sites you listed earlier - really I never knew that about sausages!! I thought al meat was fine! Just shows you doesnt it! So you deffo think that an atkins style meal is better than refeeding the week before we go to allow me to eat healthily over the weekend?
 
well thats what id do, but dont go totally mad!!!heh heh just do atkins induction style but with the least amount of fat possible id even avoid veg and stuff and stick as much to allowed meat as i can, oh yeah theres loads of stuff that i never knew werent allowed like even those dennys ham packets the first ingredient is wheatflour?!thats just ham flavoured flour!!!!! and things like those low fat spreads are bad for ketosis!!!!for breakfast maybe boiled egg, cuz fried would be bad and they usually add a load of cream into omlettes and scrambled eggs and stuff and maybe some rashers then for lunch ya a chicken salas without the dressing would be brill and dinner steak is fairly high in fat but wouldnt be too bad if you could have fish like a nice cod without batter and stuff that would be lovely if you like fish??? i think the key is to do a low fat atkins induction style weekend if ya know what i mean???but avoiding low fat products like spreads and the such cuz theyre bad bad bad for ketosis!!! god hun was just thinking your going away on the 25th of this month so thats like 16 days away, wow imagine how much your gonna have lost by then!!!!!i cant wait to hear your next loss whens your weigh in is this your second week??
