My fav is spicy tom, followed by the oriental chilli.

Keep at it hon, not long till wi!

Hya! I am new to this forum malarkey and would like to get involved. Nice to see so many positive people here. Anyone have any advice on the drinking water? That's the part i struggle with the most.

Hi Louisa, I can't stomach that stuff! I had my first one last night and had to throw it away half way through, I hope I'm going to manage better with the chilli as God knows I need something warm to drink!...my nails are currently completely blue I'm that cold!

Still can't complain, lost 7 pounds this week, worth feeling like a milk bottle for :)

Annie D: Welcome! All I can say about the water is to add flavourings to it if you can't stomach it and treat it as medicine. I also find I can drink mineral water warm much faster than if it is cold, so that's my trick!

Hi Annie d

When I started CD I could barely get 2 litres down me in a day - I just wasn't used to it. I'm now up to 5 litres a day with ease, after increasing gradually.

For my breakfast I have a choc tetra pack in a large mug and top it up with hot water (that usually takes care of 1/2 a litre) plus it warms me up - great for the cold weather and the effects of ketosis. In the evening I have another hot water (large mug) with a bit of the CD berry water flavouring in it - lovely.

Some people make up their shakes with hot (not boiling) water and used more than the required 8 fl oz. I have done that with the cappuncino and added some coffee to it - not bad.

Hope this helps

P.S: Sorry to hijack your thread Louisa!

Thanks for that you two. Good idea to add more water to the shakes.
Yesterday i threw myself into the water drinking and went far too far.....vomited a waterfall at 10pm so went to bed exhausted with a dehydration headache.LOL. Today is a new day..doing ok so far

Doing OK here ... not as excited as I was the first time I did it: the novelty factor has worn off and I frequently slip into 'pee'd off at having to tread the same path YET AGAIN' mode (although I do try not to let that negativity swamp me).

I'm very tired at the moment and that's ALWAYS a dodgy time for me so I'm going to try and get an early night.

Everyone seems to be doing so well - stay strong and we'll all celebrate the triumphs together!

Hi Annie..

I find it helps to drink water through a straw!! Don't ask me why, but it seems to help having little controlled sips..try it and see if it helps..

i have a lovely pink flask for the water at work, crystal glasses at home. straws of every hue and STILL i struggle. Treating it as medicine...that's my plan for tomorrow!

I couldn't agree more!! What a fab pic :)

Hi Louisa,

Good to see you are doing great. It's fab isn't it, when you find a tasty flavour to carry you through. I've not tried the potato & leek as my cdc never seems to have it. Love, love, love the oriental chilli but not the veg soup/chicken mushroom. Never tried the tomato as I don't want to.

Gosh, this is exactly how I'm feeling at the mo. I'm determined to lose the weight so I'll keep on keeping on but I'll only be really excited when I break new ground in this weight loss business. I've never lost beyond 1/2 of what I need to lose.

Still good to see that everyone is doing gr8 and this keeps me motivated. Keep it up people.
