Just Started Weight Watchers Today!!

STARTED WEIGHT WATCHERS (AGAIN) THIS MORNING, I LOST 5 STONE 2 YEARS AGO FOLLOWING WW BUT HAVE PUT IT ALL BACK ON (AND THEN SOME!!).
CAN'T FIT IN GOING TO MEETING ROUND WORK AND MY DAUGHTER SO AM DOING IT MYSELF AT HOME SINCE I HAVE ALL THE BOOKS, POINT CALCULATOR ETC.
I AIM TO POST MY WEIGHT ON HERE EVERY MONDAY, HOPEFULLY THAT WILL TAKE THE PLACE OF GETTING WEIGHED AT A MEETING, SO WATCH THIS SPACE!!!

NEED ALL THE HELP I CAN GET, GOT A LOT TO LOSE.

STARTING WEIGHT 19 STONE 8LBS. FINGERS CROSSED FOR A DECENT LOSS THIS WEEK.

i started (for about the 4th time) weight watchers on saturday when i went to a meeting so looks like we are newbies together. Lots of luck for the next week and looking forward to seeing how you get on.

I have found Jaffa cakes and meringue nests have really helped my sweet tooth [smile]

Welcome to Minimins....its fab....I post my weight on here once a week and it keeps me motivated instead of meetings so good idea..

LOOKING FORWARD TO AND DREADING MY FIRST WEIGH IN ALL AT THE SAME TIME.

WILL BE GUTTED IF I HAVEN'T LOST A DECENT AMOUNT,HAVE A HAD A GOOD WEEK , I HOPE!.

DIDN'T HAVE ANY WINE MON - FRI (I NORMALLY HAVE A COUPLE OF GLASSES EVERY NIGHT) AND DIDN'T EVEN USE ALL MY POINTS, BUT SATURDAY NIGHT I HAD A CHINESE AND 2 GLASSES OF WINE AND A FEW ROSES OUT OF THE XMAS TIN.HOPEFULLY THE POINTS I DIDN'T USE EARLIER IN THE WEEK WILL BALANCE IT ALL OUT.

WELL GOING TO BED NOW WITH FINGERS CROSSED FOR A LOSS 2MORO MORNING.
 
Weighed myself before going to work, only lost 3lbs!! Was expecting a bit more on the first week, and while i know it's better than gaining or staying the same i am really disappointed.

I tried so hard last week didn't use all my points any day except Saturday, but surely 1 chinese shouldn't have spoiled things too much!!??
Am trying not to get disheartnened but was looking forward to the boost of a big drop on the 1st week.
Anyway am still counting the points and will see what happens next week, not going to give up just yet!!
Last week i was only using around 14 point a day when i have 26 to use, one of the girls at work also doing ww said i wasn't using enough points and maybe thats why i didn't lose so much. Is that right?? Doesn't make much sense to me.Although i do vaguely remember the leader at the class i used to go to saying something about not saving more than 2 per day and to use up your points.

Can anyone shed some light on my tiny loss??
 
Nikki Id say without a shadow of a doubt youve had far far too few points... you were TWELVE a day under your allowance. You should never save more than 4 a day. Eating too little is actually as bad, diet wise, as eating too much.

I think youll find you would have had a much better wi if youd used your points fully. The points are worked out for a reason, so we're all getting the balance we need youve effectively starved yourself this week.

Be sure and eat ALL Your points this week if youre allowed 26 you should use them all up, or save a maximum of 4 a day which you should use by the end of the week
 
Yeah thats pretty much what the girl at work said, i'll try to eat a bit more this week and see what happens,but i wasn't deliberately trying to save all those points i really had had enough to eat.

God I never thought i'd be struggling to eat more!! LOL
 
Believe me this is the first time i've ever had this problem in my life!!

I'm sure i won't have a problem eating more!! lol in a few weeks i'll no doubt be moaning i haven't got enough points!
Will have a higher point dinner 2nite and i bought some low fat carte d'or ice cream so will have some for pudding, YUM!!!
 
Yeah it's the vanilla one, my points calculator says it's just 1.5 points for 2 small scoops!!!! Is that right?? OMG i can eat LOADS!!
 
Well back of pack says 69cals and 2grms fat per 2 scoops calculator says 1.5!! Just had some it's LUSH, wouldn't know it was low fat.

Had a big dinner too chicken,new potatoes,2 low fat sausages,gravy made with granules and lots of veg. Still only used 15 points all day,will have a snack later but feel i'm eating twice as much now as before i started diet!!
