So, that's it really, has anyone done theirs? I'll be first to confess.....

My name is Carol and I'm putting my tree up TODAY!

Phew! It felt good to get that off my chest! :D

My tree has been up 2 weeks today.......we were gonna put up our lights on the front of the house so as it was raining the boys did the tree.

Aww lovely Sonkie! I keep promising myself I'll get lights for outside every year, still haven't managed it as there's no-one to put them up for me :( I do put lights inside in all the front windows though to try and make up for it lol!

No, not yet - well, we don't have one here in the uni halls!

I hope to go home in 2 weeks and help my boyfriend put his tree up, and decorate his place :D

I was driving home from work last night and there were a few houses with lights all over the outsides of them, but they're the ones that collect for charity every year. Must admit I do love all that though lol! I've always wanted to go to America just to see how everyone decorates their houses! :D

I have promised the kiddos I will do a tree this year

Will put it up Christmas Eve (if time) and take it down Boxing Day before it gets grubby.

Nothing worse than having to take all those pine needles off to wash and sticking them all back on again with superglue. Takes and age don't you find?

Mrs Depp, it'll have to be one of those mini christmas trees, not much room in my hall room for all the mess

Can't wait to relish in the Christmas festivities with my boyfriend, tis our first Christmas together :D

Anyone know where I can get a sprig of mistletoe from? ;) :D

What takes me ages is the arranging of the baubles and lights lol!:D

you arrange the baubles and lights? You don't just throw them and see where they land?:D

Joking aside, when we do get our tree up before my students finish for the end of term, I just love seeing their faces.

I know that one or two tone colour schemes look rather lovely, but we go for a multi colour effect. It's full of interesting items dating back 50 years.

It started when my father found a tiny little beer bottle ornament when I was one or two years old. It was added to the tree, then something else new or found (if appropriate) added each year.

It takes an age to put them all on, but it brings back some happy memories and the kids just love exploring. it's certainly different and we get lots of oooos and ahhhhhs:cool:

Just got to find time to put the damn thing up!
