Is it just me??

Hi everyone :) hope you are all well

Now is it just me?? I have lost 30lbs and am 8lbs away from target now which is great BUT really can't SEE any difference I have had compliments just really can't see it?! The only way is by my clothes being to big. I know don't know whether to change my target to 9 stone instead of 9.7
Does anyone else not notice weight loss when they look in the mirror??
I still see my chubby legs HUGE bum :( I know it's great I have lost the weight and don't want to be negative but just not seeing it

Give it a few months, for some reason i lost loads of weight but my body only really looked slimmer after a while, i think the body takes its time adjust

My advice is to try on something that you did not fit into before. I bought a dress that a coudn't close when i started and i tried it on about two weeks into weight loss (after losing about 11lbs) and i was utterly stunned when it fit. Sometimes we get so used to seeing ourselves as fat that we only notice the things that are wrong.

I lost the same amount as you and it was a quite a short space of time too (about 12 weeks) it made a big difference in how i look, just far less bulgy lol! Oh my god especially in my face which is big natuarally anyway (see photo) damn my east european cheekbones!!!

Remember no one is perfect, even at their ideal weight and we all need realistic expectations. My plan now is to lose weight until i look 'smooth' to get rid of the bulges i still have on my hips back and thighs.

Do you have any before photographs to compare with more recent ones, this might help. You must have gotten lots of comment from people saying you look much better/healthier/slimmer 30lb is a lot to lose.

Good luck X

Yeah my weight loss isnt a huge one only 10 lbs so far but i dont notice it. when i used to weight 160 and lost like 30lbs i didnt notice it until people started telling me i looked really thin, now that im back up again and i look at my old "skinny" photos i can tell i was tiny.

I don't know if this would work, but what about taking pics? I know when I look in the mirror, I think I look ok, but when I see pics, that's when I really see what I really look like. That's one reason it took me so long to make the commitment to change...because I really didn't see what I looked like. Instead, I just stopped taking pics. :( So, maybe you'd be able to see your progress more in pics.

Good luck!!

Yeah the pics thing is a good idea. Take a recent pic of yourself and compare it! I'm sure you'll notice the difference then :)
