Question for the girls :)

Loooooves MiniMins
I've started bleeding a little but am on the pill and haven't missed any, not due for another week. Has this happened to anyone else with CD and ss??

Yup, on Monday in fact LOL! Had a little breakthrough bleeding (on depot provera so shouldn't have at all) but that was it, all better now. Had a bad spate when I was first started, lasted ages and I ended up going to the doctor and having all sorts of tests done but there was nothing wrong.
Not sure what causes it but probably just your body adjusting. If in doubt, seek medical advice!

I am on the pill and just finished a 4 week bleed! SS seems to totally muck up your hormones.

Thanks for that, it can be a bit worrying as they are normally so regular with the pill, been doing more walking lately too, think that could contribute? If it carries on much longer will get it checked out :)

4 Weeks! Nightmare! How long you been on ss?

Really? 7 months!!! OMG

You must be anemic and exhausted?

I have PCOS and was hoping that losing weight might regulate my periods but I sure don't want them constantly!!

i have pcos and have just finished a 14 month long period so seriously hoping ssing doesnt start it off again

and oddly enough i wasnt all that anemic, a month of iron tablets and i was fine

Been SS'ing since the beginning of June but only went on pill three months ago. There seems to be some evidence I heard somewhere that oestrogen is a fat-soluble hormone that can store in fat and when you break down fat rapidly it can push your levels up mucking up usual function. To be fair I hadn't had a normal period for years before SS as my weight stopped them most of the time.

That sounds like a good explanation :) Not too worried about it now, if it gets bad or goes on too long I'll see doc but hopefully no need for that, after all our bodies are going through a big change :D
