Cambridge Diet Counsellor
Hi Guys
As many of you know I am a Cambridge Diet Counsellor and have just had my 1st year anniversary :D.

I still love been a counsellor as much now as when I started. I have alot of wonderful clients who I must say are all doing very well.

Yesterday something happened which made it all worth while and brought a tear to my eye.

I have an amazing lady who has lost a lot of weight with me on Cambridge (if your reading this *** you will know who you are), she has recently had the tummy tuck op and is very happy and looks absolutly amazing.

She has gone through the plan and maintenance steps to the book...done everything that has been asked of her......drunk all her water :D.

She came yesterday for her monthly weighin check (to keep her focused) and she had bought me the most beautiful bunch of flowers and a thank you card :cry:. "For the help and support you gave me throughout my weightloss, I couldn't have done it without your help". ***blub blub**

I told her that it was her that had done the hard work and I was just there when the going got a bit rough...

Thought I would share this with you guys, I feel so made up that anyone could be so lovely. Makes it all so worthwhile.

I also have another lovely lady who fingers crossed is going to become a CDC after doing so well on the diet herself.....

To all my clients that may read this I hope that this story will help to keep you motivated and prove that with a lot of determination on your part and a bit of support from me you will acheive your goal.

(((hugs)))

take care

Maggie

awwwww what a lovely story Maggie - i bet it makes it all worthwhile.

I'm sure that you are a fantastic cdc and made that lady's journey all the more easier.

I'd love to become a cdc at the end of this but not sure how much time i would need to dedicate to it. How do you find it combines with your other job and life in general?

You can fit it easier around your life, you can do 1 day a week if you choose or more...there are no rules. You work to suit you. Very easy to plan, some people just work the weekend or like my self I work a few hours most days, some evenings and a Sunday Morn.

I still feel so chuffed. I have the flowers on my desk. It was such a lovely gesture.

Maggie, that is such a lovely post to read!

It's lovely to hear that your support and advice has meant so much to this lady to show her appreciation and thanks with such a kind gesture.
Obviously your work as a CDC means a lot to not only her, but the others that have turned to you for guidance.
Well done!!!

Thank you for sharing that with us Maggie, its is always nice to get appreciation...and well done to your client...

Oh Maggie how lovely. Don't ever underestimate the power of a great CDC, you give us advice when we have questions, support when things are tough, encouragement when things are easy, compliments to make us feel good about ourselves to name but a few. Most importantly you have been instrumental in allowing us to become the people we want to be and changing lives.

So, you blow that trumpet and feel justifiably proud of all you have achieved - WELL DONE!
