Hi

I've been on SS for the last 2 1/2 weeks and plan on another week of it then will be doing AAM then going up the other steps.
Is it best to do each step for 2 weeks or 1 week??

I'm doing this with my husband aswell and we both want to work up the steps in time for christmas and then we'll go back to it after christmas if have anymore weight to loose.

I've lost 5 lbs the first week, 4 lbs last week and seem to have lost 4lbs this week, weigh in tomorrow, so would I more or less stop loosing weight when I start going up the steps??

The book suggests that you do two weeks of each step as a minimum.

This is to allow your body to adjust and stabilise at each stage so that any increase in carbs doesn't create water-retention, which would appear as weight-gain.

Hope all goes well for you x

I read that too but I came across something somewhere that said a week can be enough too!! I can't find it now anyway!!

I know if we done CD over christmas we'd really struggle and probably mess it up so thats our reasoning behind having worked up all the steps by then!! I'd love to not have to go back on it if I can!

last year i did a week at each and was fine, but everyone is different, ask your cdc also im sure some of the cdc`s here will give you some more educated info,

Well i suppose we could try 1 week on each and if we start gaining we can do longer on them!

Thanks for the advice! I'll ask my CDC tomorrow too!!
