syn calculator confusing me

Got some Tesco chicken Tomato & Basil Couscous reduced for 10p last night - but trying to work out the syns (ingredients - couscous, tomat & basil dressing, chicken & tomatoes)

When i put the details in the syns calculator is says 0 syns per portion (using couscous & chicken as free food)
but when put the name in the SW online is says 11.5 for the whole pack

So not sure which is right. Can someone check for me please.

Am i right on an EE day, using couscous & chicken as free foods :

165kcal
Protein 7.4g
Carb 25.8g
fat 2.7g
450g in whole package

I dont know how you get 0 syns per portion? It never says "0 syns per portion" anyway, it just says "Free on Extra Easy" .

In the calculator I get:
9 Syns per package/portion on Extra Easy
using chicken & couscous as free food, which Im not entirely sure are both allowed anyway. The syns online gives:

Chicken, Tomato & Basil Couscous Salad, 450g pack 11½

so I would go with that one, 11.5 syns.

but why couldn't us say chicken & couscous are free foods.
Don't normally use ready cooked foods so tad confusing.

You can only use the top item on the Ingredients list as the free food and the Ingredients for this are:
Rehydrated Couscous
Tomato & Basil Dressing
Chicken

in that order, so I dont think you can count the chicken, it's not even second on the list.

Doesnt matter anyway as the syn value comes out the same whether I use just couscous or both chicken and couscous as free foods. It comes out as 9 syns, it definitely doesnt come out as free.

Never mind - will throw it away - only cost 10p lol and not wasting syns on it hehe x
