Saggy Neck!

Porgeous

Chilling
Hi all

I have started to notice that my neck has gone a little saggy and i have crepey bits under my chin. Of all the places I expected sagging this wasn't one of them!! Has anybody else found this and does it settle down with time??

I've heard of shaggy boobs but not that one Georgie hehe , but i have noticed i have saggy arms where i lost some weight , if i look in the mirror while arms are down its gone shaggy , and no i'm not filling it up lol

best to date a plastic surgeon and get all our bits done hehe

With saggy arms, I found swimming toned me up the last time that I lost a lot of weight.
With the neck.....and this will sound really hilarious, my Mum used to do some stretches to tighten up that area.
If you stick out your lower jaw and then open and close your mouth really slowly, you can feel it tightening the neck - don't do it when anyone is around, or they will lock you up!!!
It worked for Mum and she lost 12 stone.

Hey Porgeous,

Think I recall some facial exercises off the TV that can help tighten the neck - honestly!! Not sure exactly what to do - but I'm sure if you google neck tightening exercises you should get something up!!

Thanks gang, I've googled and found the following (in case it helps anyone else) what I have also discovered is that all neck exercises, without exception are designed to make you look like some sort of freak show but hey in for a penny....!

# 1
A great exercise is to sit upright, tilt your head back looking at the ceiling while keeping your lips closed and then start a chewing movement. You will feel the muscles working in your neck and throat area - and will be truly amazed at the results. Repeat 20 times.
# 2
Sit upright, tilt your head back looking at the ceiling, while keeping your lips closed and relaxed. Start puckering your lips together in a kiss and stretch the kiss, as if you were trying to kiss the ceiling. Keep your lips puckered for 10 counts, then relax, bring your head back to its normal position and repeat 5 times.
# 3
Sit upright, tilt your head back looking at the ceiling, while keeping your lips closed and relaxed. Open your lips and stick your tongue out as if you were trying to touch your chin with the tip of your tongue. Keep your tongue out in this position for 10 counts, and then return your tongue and head to its normal position.
# 4
Sit upright, tilt your head back looking at the ceiling, while keeping your lips closed and relaxed. Next move your lower lip over your top lip as far as possible and keep it there for a count of 5. Relax and repeat 5 times.
# 5
Lie on your bed, with your head hanging down over the edge. Slowly bring your head up towards your torso and keep it there for 10 counts. Relax and lower your head towards the floor again - repeat 5 times.

I have it too Georgie, my other half is adamant he cant see anything but I can everytime I look in the mirror ... very frustrating and not a place I ever even worried about getting saggy crepey skin till now, argh! I am moisturising a couple of times a day in that area and massaging outwards to either side of my neck and also doing some exercises to try and tighten/tone the area.

I am really hoping that it will sort itself out and in the meantime trying not to stress too much?

So glad I'm not alone Missy, my hubby says he can't see it either!! started the exercises and ordered some cream from QVC, we will conquer it I'm sure!
