Feast or Famine

I'm having cash flow crisis recently. Again I am out of money until Friday ... then money will be tight for four weeks and then I might be able to breathe. I find myself not eating anything ~ as I haven't money for food or once I get money pigging out and eating junk. Then I run out of money and its fast again.

Does anyone know what I mean? Can anyone identify? I am really struggling to break this cycle and would welcome any tips.

By the way when I have anything in the house I can't just have one out of a multipack ~ I "have" to eat the whole pack in one sitting.

Go on tell me I'm crazy ;-(#

I've been there and done that. We used to spend about £100 to £150 a month on takeout and we where always short on cash for shopping etc. When i joined SW i found the £5 a week saved us thousands (we totalled it up and in 12 months we' spent nearly £2500 on takeaways!). Eating healthier is not always expensive. I find the slimming world plan is easy to follow when your on a budget, we dont go over £50 a week for the pair of us and thats buying ingredients, fruit, veg, yoghurts etc, including dog food! Perhaps work out how much your are spending by binging at the end of the month, it will shock you and think of what you could spend that money on! :)

Unfortunately knowing the amount of money I spend on trash wouldn't compute in my brain..... however what I am going to do is go shopping on~line (I use Asda) and get a fortnights worth of shopping and dog food. Then I only have money left for trash as an afterthought. Wish I had a fridge but.... might try going to Lidles as well for fruit and veg ~ my local tesco express which I pass every day has little in the way of fruit. First off spend the money at Asda. When I shop on~line I don't buy trash and snacks. Must rememeber to get stuff that I can take into work.

Sorry for the ramble

Shopping online is brill! If we go to asda we buy rubbish and things we dont need but if we shop online we get only stuff we want and tweek things to stay within our budget. We also always order online the night of group :)

Online shopping is good for avoiding the temptation of filling your trolley with junk food but I've found it does have one drawback, they always send you stuff that's practically out of date.
