Hi I started Rosemary Conley on monday and I know its not strictly calorie counting but from what I can gather its calorie counting but making sure you have a balanced diet.

So my question is, I'm normally a big eatter and always snack between meals. Now I've stopped snacking Im getting really hungry between meals and when it comes to eatting the meals I think I get past a point of wanting to eat. Does anyone else feel like this? And do you think it will pass?

And also I've lost 2.5lb since monday, do think this is a real loss of some of it water?

Thanks

I get like that. It does pass but it might be worth finding a few very low cal snacks to keep you going? Some fruit or a few veggie sticks or a low fat yoghurt maybe?

2.5 since Monday is quite normal for the first weeks or so. Your losses will be high as you you shed some water and as your body adapts to the lower food intake. Drink lots an lots of water to help this along!!

Thanks hun, was quite worried that I was going to have to put up with feeling hungry for the nxt 6 months lol. Yep thought it might be water but still makes the scales look good :)

Some of it will be water, but not all of it. There is no reason, if you are eating well and drinking enough, that you can't have losses like that on a regular basis.

Low cal snacks are essential for me, I couldn't do all this without some snacks occasionally. I would eat my own arm otherwise!!! I find drinking helps with the hunger pangs.

Good luck hun :)

I have drank ALOT of tea this week just to keep my mouth busy.

I've given in and started eatting a late afternoon snack as I either go to the gym after work or OH does and I dont get tea til like 8ish.

I don't want to jinx it but this is the first time I've felt in controlle of a diet and its made me feel quite confident. Lets hope its not my down fall.
