Was just wondering does the weight loss slow down a lot in the 2nd week. I am 3 days into 2nd week and I weighted myself this morning ( I no I shouldn't) but I'm only down 1 lb , really disappointed hoping to loose at least 5 . Drinking all my water and shakes . It's not the totm has I had a hysterectomy 2 years ago

With lipotrim the first week u lose loads bcos ur losing ur stores and lots of fluid!!! Also it could be day 6 in the week b4 anything comes off that's why that recommend not to weight urself more than once a week on the same day!!!

Take the battery out of your scales!!!!!
That is the best way to not be tempted to weigh in early, plus your scales will be different from the pharmacy ones.

Stick with it and I bet you get a good result at weigh-in time

Hi,

I have just joined : ) I have found the same thing.
In my first week I lost 6 lbs but it doesnt look like I am going to lose anything this week - I can't help but get on the scales too.
I don't weight until Wednesday PM so I still have time, but don't want to lose faith so early on.
I ran on Saturday and Sunday morning this weekend, previously did no exercise, so I hope that will help.

When do you weigh in? I am trying Weight Watchers - for the third time : (

xx

You always lose more on your first week because most of it is the water your retaining, but every pound you lose from the second week onwards is pure fat! Thats how I think of it and it really helps. I lost 9 pounds in my first week but for the last two weeks I seem to have settled at 2 and a half pounds, it sounds like a small amount but thats 10 lbs every 4 weeks! So don't be worried about losing small amounts, every pound is a step in the right direction =D xxx

Exercise can slow down weight lose if u don't have lots more water maybe that's what's up!!

Thanks Alig2009 and brochmor, I did think that would be a bit much to sustain every week!
I will keep that advice in mind and make sure I drink a lot of water! I think 1 or 2 lbs a week would be great.

Fingers Crossed for Wednesday! xx

The losses throughout the week are sporadic... you'll torture yourself watching it everyday... trust me! I know!!! Lol x

Thanks every one for the replies , I no I shouldn't go near scales till Thursday , might take the battery out of the scales ha ...

Me too!! I managed to resist the temptation this morning but it was hard.
Plus my scales are cheap and rubbish, they aren't digital so you can never really tell what line its pointing at!!!! That's what I am telling myself anyway!

Hi all just to let everyone no I was down 5 lb today . Thank god, & all of you for support . I really thought I wasn't going to loose much , thanks x

Thanks dee , can't tell you how scary it felt standing on the scales , as I said before ww and all the other diets never worked for me . But at least it's going down x

Thats's fantastic, well done :)

Well done - I find the weeks I can't resisit tempatation and weigh myself everyday I don't loose in the early part of the week. It is best, if you can, put the scales away because it is so easy to get demoralised with what appears to be a slow weight loss. My scales weigh me very differently to the chemists scales.

I lost 3lbs on second week and 2lbs the third week, but after that Im at an average of 5lbs per week!! I must admit I was a little disheartened at those losses, but it all comes right in the end and Im really really happy with my progress, just hang on in there, it will all come good and a loss is better than a gain right?

Drink your water ladies and gents, it the fruit of the losses I believe.

Also, the only thing I changed after 3rd week was I upped my water from 4lts per day to 5, dont know if that made a difference or not, but Ive kept up the 5lts per day!

Thanks for that Christine. I am defo upping my water as I've only been drinking 3. It can't be enough as i still feel a slight headache most days and wake up dyhydrated. Is 5 the max? I don't want to drink too much x
