Feeling more confident!

Hi guys I have been doing slimming world for 5 wks now and lost 11.5 pounds so pleased! I can see my clothes are loser but my husband doesn't comment or tell me I'm looking good : ( I've had comments from other men saying how great I look just want husbands support! Does anyone else find their partners like this x

Just wanted to say well done on your weight loss. Ive only just started, first weigh in tomorrow so its fab to see how good you are doing.

I know what you mean about partners, I had one in the past who was the exact same, seemed to fear me loosing weight.

if you see your man alot they probably wont notice mine wont unless i dont eat for like 2 weeks lol. im trying the tesco ultraslim diet as of 2mos and am not going to tell him about it and see if he notices well done with weight watchers i couldnt keep that up. x

He he that's a good idea. He said that he sees me all the time but I know I would notice it on him! Maybe hes worried im gonna look so hot I will run off with another man lol!

To look at it from both sides it may be that he see's you everyday so it's not such a massive difference for him as it is for those people you see occasionally or at work who don't get to see the weight dropping off you each day!! My mum is also on SW and I know my dad does exactly the same as your husband, and if she has a small loss he will come out with a comment like "well did you cheat this week" - however when I am talking with him on my own he will always say how good mum is looking and that you can really see the weight loss - I think it is just some men's way of dealing with it - strange creatures

My OH is the opposite and seems to comment every day, which I have to admit I have started to ignore now because I think he is just saying it rather than really thinking it - too be honest he can't win
