Getting back in the groove

Hello to all!

I have been a member for years now, lost touch with the forums but have recently been floating about and thought it was about time to get posting again!

I started on celebrity slim, but then stopped when I bought a house with oh. I had lost 2 stone but then piled it all back on again and then some. By December 2009 I weighed 21st. Then tragedy struck, my oh mum died of heart attack :( she was my rock and hit me hard. Being bigger I started to not sleep, terrified that if I went to sleep i would have a heart attack and die. Then the following mothers day, I found out my gran died, again from heart attack.

Then the intervention came. Nothing harder than having your mum there in tears saying she doesn't want you to be the next one to go. So, after some support from friends I searched for a personal trainer to give me the almighty kick up the arse that I was then desperate for.

This was April 2010 and at current I have shed 5 stone and feel better than ever! I actually run now! I still have a way to go but I am getting there, with the help of pt and going to classes and running.

Sorry I've rabbled on for a bit, it's ok having a stick thin oh being there for you, but doesn't compare to the support you get from people on here in the same boat.

Sooz x
