Starting tomorrow!

Hi everyone,

I am starting cd tomorrow! Am getting nervous as I know from tomorrow it'll be soups & shakes for me :eek:

I am looking forward to having your support on here :)

Any advise on getting through the first few day (other than locking myself away :D) would be gratefully recieved

One other question - I play hockey and should I do anything to keep my energy levels up on a match day or will I be ok once I go into ketosis?
 
have you done the preparation week or are you starting that tomorrow. i found it has helped me, i am coming to the end of day 2 ss. yes i am peckish but no headaches or hot and cold, just tired. people have already commented that they think i have lost weight !!! albeit only 3 lb on prep week .

Hi Whoops, well done on making the decision to start, day one will be ok, day 2 or 3 may be tough, but keep your head down and you will get through it.

As for the hockey, can you not do it for the first week, just till your body adjusts?? If you must then I would take it as easy as you can and have plenty of water, speak to your cdc and see what she says too.

I have tried cutting down this week and drinking plenty of water (7 pints on Thurs & fri!) to get me into the habit!
I only play hockey on a Saturday which is why I'm starting tomorrow as I have a week now to hopefully get used to it! But I am also secretly hoping that next weeks game will be cancelled as it is half term and it's a friendly
