Hello,
Probably not the most pleasant thread but i've got a dicky tummy. Anyone experienced this too? I'm on day 5 of TS. My tummy is also very gurgley. I don't know what to do and its quite embarrassing :(

My tummy is hugely gurgley too. I've started taking ranitidine to try and help. I'm guessing the loose poos are because you're taking lots of fluid and not much solid, or it can occur if you're very bunged up and liquid will 'overflow' either way if it doesn't settle soon I'd see a dr or try AAM as you can loose nutrients.

I'm pleased you posted this because I couldn't man up enough to post it. I had a dicky tummy a few times whilst on TS and then a lot of the times I just couldn't go!

I worried about it too I'd be sat there and then all of a sudden something went wrong (sorry to everyone reading this if it's pretty sick hahaha)

I just think it's one of those things. Only happened 3 times within the 28 days.

I'd like to know if others have experienced this too.

Thanks for posting it.

I think i'm probably constipated as when it occurred, I didn't get the usual hot/cold flushes and didn't feel physically sick. I think I might just finish off my water and crawl into bed. Hopefully things will be functioning more normal tomorrow :(

Also, does anyone take fybogel? I'm thinking about taking it as it helps make bowel movements regular and normal. Or should I get psyllium husk capsules?

I've decided to order original fybogel (doesn't contain citric acid), I was thinking if I mix it with the water I use for my shakes then mix my shake it might make it easier to take as I imagine it to taste a bit gross plain. I hope it gets here on Friday or Saturday. I have a test on Friday, a 2 hour train and bus ride and work on Saturday :(

The one thing I'd say about fybogel is to mix and drink ASAP as it sets like glue if you leave it.

It's quite common for exante to cause runny tummy in the first week as your body gets used to all the vits and mins in the shakes .... Then most people will go the other way and become bunged up !! Fybogel is good to keep you going but make sure you clear any ' blockage ' before you take it or it will make it worse . I find movicol works best for me to take regularly and if I am actually bunged up then dulco pico perles are the only thing that are guaranteed to work without giving me aweful cramps ... Everyone finds different things work for them and it's worth trying a few things , hope you get sorted soon

Hi FakeFrowns I had upset tum on Day 3 and Day 5 so I don't think it's unusual. Think it mentions it in the Exante leaflet too. As Determinator says it's to do with all the vits and mins x
