I have brought a wonderful personalised Alice iin Wonderland book for my friend for christmas and as I always do her a hamper i want to theme it around alice but what can i put in it.:confused::confused::confused:
She likes foodie things:eating: and is not on a diet or anything so literally anything goes but must have some bearing on alice in wonderland. HELP ME!!!!! I am stuck!!!! Thanks in advance! :D:D

Mad Hatters tea party theme?! Some nice teas, biscuits, jams and scones?
xx

why not make your own 'mad hatter' tea party. A teapot for one, teabags, sugarcubes, a variety of baked/cake goods, jam, cheeses, crackers, mini pies, tarts.

I cant think of anything else lol. Hope it helps though :D

Treacle - I seem to remember something about a treacle mine. Was it the Dormouse? Oh and some soup "'Beautiful Soup, so rich and green,
Waiting in a hot tureen" (Google it)

Edit - it was a treacle well

Pack of playing cards, toy cheshire cat (loads of different ones on google shopping to choose from), hairband, Alice fancy dress costume, a guillotine, copy of the dvd, tea pot, mad hatter hat, small toy dormouse (Ikea have them for 99p if you have a local one), stuffed white rabbit.

Lots of scope with this one, depends on your budget!

I think all of my initial ideas have already been mentioned. I was thinking:

- A tea set for 1
- Jam tarts
- Sugar mice (like the kind you can buy from Beamish)
- Cupcakes, iced with the words 'Eat Me'

Also, not on the theme of food, you could put in:

- Playing cards
- A copy of the book/dvd
- A pair of gloves (white, like the rabbits)
- A pocket watch/watch

Also, I remember ASOS selling Alice In Wonderland jewellery not long ago. I remember seeing a cute little necklace with a bottle pendant - with a 'drink me' tag.

Just a few ideas xx

If she likes crafts there's a lovely book called 'Everything Alice' to make Alice things like cake stands using odd teacups and plates etc!

buy a glass jar - like an old fashioned sweetie jar and fill with bright coloured sweets and stick a label on it saying "eat me" then put in a bottle of her favourite wine with a label tied to it saying "drink me"?

I LOVE Alice in wonderland - i went as her to my friends hen weekend fancy dress and had an amazing clock handbag! :D
