I was planning a red day today but went out for lunch so.... So far today I have had fruit salad with yogurt for brekki but then had jacket potato with baked beans for lunch. Is this ok to have on an extra easy day???? I have pre cooked SW cottage pie for dinner. Is this still ok to have if I change to extra easy??? What else do i need or can have if i change it?
Thanks in advance.....

If you have only had one of each hex then you will be find to switch to an EE day because you've had plenty of superfree with each mean. Just make sure you have plenty of veg with your pie :)

no theyre both free on extra easy, if thats all you've eatten that you've said above then its all free on extra easy and you havn't eatten any of your hex's.

Ah luvvly. Thank you so much for your help. So i can put potato on top of my pie then too. Have got carrots and green beans in pie and would mix the potato with swede . Is that enough veg do you think?

The rule is one third so I would say that sounds about right? Are you doing slimming world by yourself or are you in group because it might help to read through your books just to remind yourself what you can have on each day.If you dont have a book im sure there is a sticky somewhere on here explain all.

Oh and btw are you an F1 fan or does your name stand for something else?

Doing it on my own and have only ever done red days. Been on it for five weeks and lost thirteen pounds so far.
Thanks for all your help. Don't quite understand how the ee works coz you seem to be able to eat everything :-\
Yes I am an f1 fan. Used to know the ins and outs but since my son was born have been distracted.

You can, but you only get one HexA & one HexB.

You also need to up your fruit and veggie intake - approx 1/3 per meal, although I rarely have 1/3 with my evening meal.

yep what she said. You don't loose wight as fast as on red days but i find it much easier to do. But judging from your weightloss your finding reds easy enough, Well done!

F1's a bit of a family thing watched it since I was a youngen, usually just watch it in the hope that button will take his top of coz theres more chance of that than of him winning now lol.

I know its too late now, but just to point out the OP ate no superfree with lunch - she just had jacket potato & beans, none of which is SF. She would have been better off sticking to Green and getting an extra 2 HEXes.

You need 1/3 superfree with *every* meal on EE. Just to clarify in case anyone reading this gets the wrong message :)

I don't. In fact I rarely have 1/3 with my evening meal. I do however have about 50% superfree with breakfast and lunch, and I only tend to snack on fruit.

I read a previous post a month or so back where a few members had e-mailed SW for clarification on this. SW said themselves that it is recommended for maximum weight loss, but not essential if the recipe/meal doesn't incorporate a lot of veg.

I think it's just a case of doing whatever works for you.

i have to be honest sometimes i dont eat it with every meal but i do therefore make up for it throughout day and have it with at least 2 meals xx

I appreciate what you're saying, I dont obey the rules 100% myself but I think its best to make it clear to any newbies that a key point of the EE plan is that 1/3 of every meal is supposed to be superfree.

As you say SW accept that it's fine if its not practical for a particular meal or whatever, but if we're describing *what an EE day is* then 1/3 of every meal is superfree and you only get 1HEXA & 1HEXB.

I rarely have 1/3 free at breakfast and as tonight is fish & chips its not really practical to have any then either so I wont. But it wouldn't be EE if I did that at every meal.

Im not looking for an argument, just to keep things clear for newbies x :)

Yes - thats quite true - I suppose I get away with it because I eat a lot of superfree during the day. I just wanted to point out that you can be a little more flexible though if you use common sense.

And Yes - fish and chips just wouldn't be right with salad would it?!!

So are beans and peas not super free?

No. They are free on Green or EE. They have to be synned or used as HEXes on Red.

Superfree is fruit & veg that is free on any Plan. So it doesn't include potatoes, parsnips, beans & pulses etc. Anything that is free on Red but not on Green or free on Green but not on Red is not superfree.

Hey. Just reading you guys discussing is helping a lot so thank you all for the comments and advice. I might wait til I've got to target and then go on ee regularly.
