My health is so much better on SW

I went to the doctors yesterday and my blood pressure has now returned to normal, I can stop 3 of the tablets I used to have, other tables reduced to one of each, my sugar count was 6 and I feel great, the doctor is very pleased and I said to him "paying £50-00 for me to join SW was the cheapest cure instead of giving me tablets" and he agreed, I said that he should do an article for their professional mag about the costs/benefits of joining SW!
Almost 5st gone...................

I was hoping for a similar experience however it didn't happen! I went to renew my pill, jumped on the scales and I'm 2 stone lighter than last time I went and the nurse didn't even bat an eyelid! Hey ho!!!!

You know it was a midwife/nurse who first made me feel bad about my weight after having my first baby, I weighed 12st 2lb so was a little overweight, she said "you have GOT to lose this excess weight"
Well, she was about 20 stone, and the look of disgust on her face made me feel like I was bigger than her (I was suffering from severe PND that warped my brain), so I thought I'm never going to be able to lose this weight and bought a bag of doughnuts, and literally used then to stuff down how bad I felt, and that carried on fir years!
It's not her fault but that was my first foray into emotional eating. Even now when I get upset I want something 'doughy' to eat because it's a big lump to swallow, I probably sound mad don't I?

Sometimes I think they need people like us to speak up even if it's a letter!
