My mate in London sent me a pressie yesterday, it's a microwave crisp maker, it's like a little rack that you put thin pieces of parsnip/beetroot/potato in blast for 2-3 mins & you have crisps. Gonna try it tonight.......

Hmmmm the little guillotine thing that came with it doesn't work so I think they were a bit thick but with practice getting the potato thin enough I'm sure it'll work!

this sounds divine......wonder if you can have one spray of one cal to it?Would that work in the microwave? bet it would in the oven....

Try use the slot on the side of a cuve cheese grater or poatoe pealer x

Oh yeah potato peeler now why didn't I think of that, am just wallowing in the bath then will have a go!

You don't need any fry light on them, that's the whole idea....

No potato peeler didn't work but I'm getting better with slicing thinner & I did get a couple in that batch that were crispy - woohoo!!!
