Hi sorry but i always seem to be asking for syn help but i cant find them anywhere! Right i have .....
linda mccartney red onion and rosemary sausages
per saus 64 cals,7.1 protein,4.8 carbs,1.9 fat,2.9 fibre.
cauldron aduki bean kievs
per kiev 223 cals,6.8 protein,33g carb,5.4 fat,7.7 fibre.
Bought them today already eaten the sausages so hope they re not too much...kievs sound lush!thanks for any help x

couldn't find them on syns online - but according to the calculator:
red onion & resmary sausages = 0.5 each

Oh, I've just put the sausages through the calculator and they come out as 3 syns on all plans. Will go back and check in case I have mistyped anything? They appear to be 50g weight per sausage. Is that what you worked to?

Yes, just put them through again and it says 3 syns per sausage.

The kievs say 9 and a half on green and EE if using aduki beans as free food allowance, or 11 if not using any free food allowance.

I didn't use any free food allowance on the sausages ... If you put them through using 'vegetarian product' as the free food they come out as free!

Sorry, probably not much help!

thanks for helping peeps.on the sausages the first ingredient is soya and kievs the first is aduki beans.so which value should i go for lol?hopefully the lowest haha! i thought the kievs would be quite low at 5.4 g fat....oh bugger!x

I've got the kievs as 3½ Syns per kiev on Extra Easy & Green, 11 Syns per kiev on Original.

The sausages are free on all plans.

Hope that helps a bit - not sure what everyone else has been using, but I used the values you provided in the first post, and the weights that were provided later (50g for a sausage and 110g for one kiev).

please correct me if I am doing something wrong, but no matter if I use the values from the website (per 100g, so I ticked per 100g at the top of the syn calculator) or I use the values given above (and tick per serving on the syn calculator). I come up with the same value.
I have ticked free food as the quorn has vegi product as it's highest ingredient and Cauldron had aduki beans as highest ingredient.

arrrrrrrrrggghhhh!! just realised what I've been doing - I didn't put any red day food allowance in.... you can still use veggi food as a free allowance...... agree with he rest of you now!!

thanks so much everyone glad u sorted your problem out vicky lol !!! they were new things in asda so hopefully they ll be there a while.its so annoying when u find something u like and its diet friendly then they stop selling it!sausages were lush especially now they re free!will have kiev tomorrow now i know they re low.Do u have to be sw members for the calculator?Cant u buy something like for ww?Thanks again much appreciated x :)

Ta chilli11! x
unfortunatly you have to be a slimming world memeber to get the online calculator (either a club member or online member). Both of which are quite expensive, but if you post your queries on here someone will normally get back to you fairly quickly (Hopefully others can be more helpful than me!!)
x

THought so.I just do it alone at home i bought the syn book from ebay and got the basics from a friends book! But theres so many foods out there that arent in the book! This is a fab site for help and info though it makes it quite easy to do alone and its full of motivation i think!!The kievs were well worth the syns....mmmm lovely!!Cheers again x :)

Soo... this thread confuses me!! How many syns did you guys work them out to be? 3.5 per kiev and free sausages? I thought there wasn't any free sausages anymore?

I think that's right, yes. The red onion sausages are new so not online in the directory - the syn calculator isn't 100% accurate, but it does the best it can. At the moment they appear to be free but may change when the item appears in the main directory.
