help! advice needed please!

Hi everyone!

I'm in my 5th week of doing pp online, and up until last week I'd lost 14lbs, which I was really happy with!

I weighed this morning and I'd gained 2lbs :( I'm not sure why, as I've stayed within my daily points etc. Anyone have any advice or help as to why this happened, or if this has happened to anyone else please? Really down over this as I had done really well, and so far this has been the only successful diet I've done that's resulted in any weight loss at all.

Hey is it your totm coming up, that could cause you to hold on to some water weight and make you a bit bloated! You will prob find its just your body getting used to things and will be gone next week?

Or have you eaten more fruit than usual sometimes that could be it!

Try not to worry, I know it's disheartening bit pp does work! X
 
You have done really well so dont let it get you down too much. Just keep doing what you have been doing and i'm sure it will start to come off again, good luck x
 
Wow jade uve done really well so far!!! Don't let a little 2lb get u down, it's prob water. Try to drink 2 litres of water a day to help with fluid retention. Think of what u have already achieved in just 5 weeks, I've been doin ww 2 weeks and only lost 2lb!!!! Keep going - it will come off I promise xxx
 
Thanks guys, I was a bit shocked when I got on the scales yesterday as I hadn't eaten very much last week and I'd been exercising so I was hoping for a loss lol! I'm defo sticking

Hiya. I had a wk like that where i thought i would do great but didnt. I said it to my leader and she said not to look at it wk by wk cos everyone is different but to look at a 4 wk picture and true enough i lost 4 lbs the following wk. Dont let it get you down and hopefully you get a good loss this wk x x

That's a great bit of advice.
 
Yes, I agree with Goose - different weeks have different reactions to our bodies - like TOTM etc. It's good to look at the grand picture - so a four week cycle rather than a week cycle, even though we get weighed in each week.

Hey guys, thanks for the advice its really helped me carry on with this, and its reassuring to know that its normal to have a gain now and again! Because I'm doing it online and all my friends are SW members I haven't really got anyone to ask advice about with this diet so hope you didn't mind me asking you!

I re-weighed after my post last week, it turned out is actually lost a pound, my scales were just acting the goat! But I'm totally prepared for if it happens now, and I won't stress about it like last time. Weighed today and had a 6lb loss this week so am really happy! I'm loving this diet!

Could be time of month. I have been on ww 9 weeks now and lost 2 stone 1 lbs. Week five I had been brilliant but only lost 1 lbs, that was just before the time of month started, I stayed on track perfectly though the next week and lost 4.5 lbs, the 4 lbs the week after that, don't go off track because you feel disappointed, the ww pro points plan seems to be working really well for me, if I have a bad day I do loads of walking to try and counteract it. I have 4 stone 13 lbs left to go...

Stick with it...
