Yogurt syn value

Hi all,

Ive searched threads on my phone but had no luck finding this product.

They are aldi's version of activia yogurts and are peach flavoured. Im rubbish at using the SW calculator and got 1.5 syns so want to see if anyone can clarify the syn value at all please :)

Per 125g pot:

87kcal
Protein: 4.9g
Carbohydrate: 16.8g
Fat: trace
Fibre: trace
Sodium: 0.06g

Have i synned these right???

Thanks :)

Sorry to bring you some bad news but I used the syns calculator and got these to be 4.5 syns on all plans!!!

As a rough guide you can guess at 1 syn per 20 calories. Time to look for an alternative yoghurt me thinks.

See i used the 20kcal rule and then checked the SW calculator and found yogurt as a free food so am i right that i mark it as free food for both green and red for an extra easy syn value :/ thats how i got 1.5 syns?

Appreciate what syns you come up with though as i couldnt find it on SW site to confirm either

Thanks :) x

I didn't realise yoghurt had a free food value!!!

What's the exact name of the yoghurts? cos I have the low syn snack book on my knee and can see if they're in that for you.

Its ok I wasnt sure either it was only when i was messing with the calculator i found it :)

I sound like a right pain but i only ripped the nutritional value off the packet as my mum was gettin rid of the packaging to make room in the fridge.

All i know is that they are an aldi brand im pretty sure it wasnt the brooklea brand (i think ive remembered that brand right :/) and i remember on SW site the brand wasnt there. On what packaging ive saved from the bin it says 'fat free probiotic peach yogurt with active bifidius cultures' that probably doesnt help though :( sorry!

If i didnt have a memory like a fish I would have remembered to take it to weigh in for my C to value for me.

I just fancied a change of yoghurts as im a bit fed up mullerlights and aldis version of these and as it said fat free i knew i still had to check syn value even though im sure they'll be alot lower than the average yogurt :)

I've been through the book with a fine toothcomb and found some Optifit pro-biotic yogs but there isn't a peach flavour. The other flavours are either 2.5 or 3 syns each.

The only other fat free peach yogs are the brook lea ones and they are 2 syns each.

Hope this helps.
