Mummy tummy - any tips how to tone it up?

Just wondered if any of you ladies are like me and having or had problems toning up your mummy tummy? Any advice on ways to stop it being so jiggly?
 
I read somewhere the plank is very good. Better than sit ups for some reason I can't remember - good luck, I'll have thus worry in a few months!
 
Typical - I am useless at the plank lol. Will try it though, thanks :)

P.s I've also read somewhere that sit ups aren't that good for getting rid of mummy tummy aswell

I know that feeling, the plank is a killer. Sit ups are the best but I find that if they are not done properly you end up with back/neck ache. I have just bought (delivered this morning) an abs roller – used to have one years ago and they are brilliant. No way of not doing proper sit ups using this. Bought he Davina Ab Roller with Mat from Argos for £16 in sale – looking forward to trying it out in a bit. If you have an iphone get the abs workout app – it is free
