Snacks on EE

Hiya

I was under the impression that on EE we had to only have superfree food for snacks ......... but looking on the 7 day trial menu on the SW website it has crab sticks, ham, sw chips, jacket spuds, couscous and leftovers (tikka chicken) listed as snacks.

Is this a new thing or did I just get the wrong end of the stick??

Thanks x

You don't HAVE to have s/f as your snacks no, however they recommend you try to-if not, go for free food next :)

The official wording (from page 10 of the book) is

"fill 1/3 of your pate with Superfree Foods and make them your first choice between meals."

Thanks both ....... they're just confusing matters then by putting on their menu:

Snacks: wherever, whenever and however much you like!

If you’re at home, rustle up a portion of Slimming World chips (see recipe below day one) or ring the changes by using the same method to bake sweet potatoes and parsnips. Out and about? Then go for a hot jacket with beans, a corn on the cob or take some fruit in your bag.

Make up a big sandwich box of couscous soaked in stock and a squeeze of lemon juice for added flavour. Add fresh herbs, finely chopped spring onion, chopped peppers and chopped tomatoes and tuck in whenever you’re a bit peckish.

Roll chunks of fresh pineapple and fat free natural cottage cheese in slices of cooked ham and eat freely all day long! Plus you’re free to tuck into the leftovers of your creamy tikka chicken - that’s the beauty of free food!

I just find it a bit confusing!! On a couple of the days they use cottage cheese, yogs and fruit as snacks but surely they should be pushing the superfree foods between meals if they want us to do that!?!?
